13/4/2010 11:01 | crookney, if you can get 'em, pick up a million or two at 2 plus a whisker. funny, i would have thought you a very keen buyer of woollies - woolly stories being an occasional speciality of yours just bear in mind four things: 1. the size of the ongoing business - mostly big consumer t/o to the USA 2. the imminent solution to the pension problem, shrunk anyway by the sale of a small part of the business 3. the savage reduction in borrowings 4. the new board, put there by the largest new shareholder -ask yourself why? | ydderf
19/3/2010 16:00 | its obvious what is going to happen here once the pension deficit is sorted this year - look at the turnover, look at where they sell, look at what they got for selling a business recently - no indication of its value in the balance sheet prior........a jewelry box with a lucky dip future. put up a chart and see what they were 8 years ago and its now under new management | ydderf
30/12/2009 15:17 | Confirmation it was Guiness Peat who sold. They still have 5.8% but must surely be looking to sell these too. | deswalker

30/12/2009 13:15 | Somebody called Brian George White buys the 20 mill. Who he ? Must be either Guiness Peat or LDSG selling. | deswalker
29/12/2009 12:55 | I'll be surprised Arthur. My bet is on Guiness Peat selling out to one of the other holders. | deswalker
29/12/2009 12:09 | Only LDSG and Guiness Peat owned more than 20 mill as of 8 Dec. | deswalker
29/12/2009 11:57 | Bought 50k NMS at 2p. 20 million trade at 2p, quite a premium before the move so it just might be a takeover as that is 10% of the company almost. | 21simthy
