11/2/2011 18:48 | IMHO Bank will put this in admin as they want the current BOD in place. DA is a prized clown. Done my research | showmethemoneyhoney
11/2/2011 18:44 | Jimmy - I'm just a curious observer on this share as I sold the one or two I owned BUT I doubt the banks will do that as it would lower the realisation of funds to repay debt, also worth remembering the banks have so far resisted creating a firesale of DAV's remaining assets like its trade finance division etc so imo the board is just getting desperate and dropping scare stories.... not unlike their previous vote rigging exercises to deny shareholders information during the last requisition vote The board is contradicting itself about the 'insolvency issue' by its own negotiation with Kingswood? Which by their own logic means they can't do a deal with Kingswood for the same reason.. DA could win this as his own voting block is c.22% - boils down to the intentions of PIs imo IMHO DA isn't a clown but a respected finance executive, better qualified to turn DAV around ..and work with banking panel to repay the debt than the current board who are far to negative and imho unfit to run a toffee apple stall at a summer fete | grlz
11/2/2011 13:57 | thought the guys would have been buying more in the market. will continue to watch. | still waiting
11/2/2011 13:49 | Cheers grlz - if DA does manage to win the vote seems that the bank will put the company into Admin anyway | jimmylufc
11/2/2011 12:47 | The full notice - hidden somewhat deep inside DAV's website and doesn't contain the proposals from DA or the Requisitor..... | grlz
10/2/2011 18:53 | In a word I would say no, they lacked the support last time and one would imagine that the BOD will also doing whatever they can to secure a few more votes this time around. | mike111d
10/2/2011 16:25 | Meeting convened for 10/3/11 - see below. Do people believe that DA will obtain the necessary support this time round ?? Convening of General Meeting Davenham refers to its announcement on 21 January 2011 and confirms that a general meeting of the Company has been convened for 11 a.m. on 10 March 2011 at 274 Deansgate, Camp Street, Manchester, M3 4JB, in order to vote on resolutions put forward by Fitel Nominees Limited to appoint Mr Anthony and Mr Jennison as directors in place of the current Board. 31/1/2011 09:44 | Has all gone very quiet - is it just a question now of waiting for the second EGM ? | jimmylufc
29/1/2011 10:00 | Well an absolute lack of interest and no factual intel - has DA's posting made peopple think? I think it should and more importantly he hasnt replied either to my question to him re dilution | understandrisk
26/1/2011 09:43 | Taken from LSE board.............fw suey77 Posts: 92 Observation Opinion: No Opinion Price: 4.88 Major ShareholdersToday 03:50 Between DA, Kingswood and Antony Murtagh they hold 50.01% of all shares. Hmmmmmm.......... Could this be the reason why Antony Murtagh recently bought more shares? so they have the majority? Plus with us PI's behind DA, It might be looking good. Fingers crossed. With 29.14% I'm sure Kingswood would want to see the share price go up rather than "hold no value". | lufc5
26/1/2011 00:18 | Understandrisk. I have(imho) posted plenty of useful info over these last weeks/months. Can I ask where you have sprung from, and what you have brought to the table? I have posted "facts" on here and nothing more. You sound like your a DAV troll to me. You tell us why you have posted on here? I will gladly respond, if it indeed warrants a response. Regards. Lufc5. | lufc5
25/1/2011 23:35 | Earth shattering intel LUFC if you going to post something why dont you make it useful. Woody I agree with you on the info front this doesnt make sense. Note DA has not replied to my question and his previous posting of lowering our expectations. Was going to post my intel on Kingswood and views on Hitachi but thought I would let LUFC post something interesting for a change | understandrisk

25/1/2011 14:20 | They lift the offer up 1/2p to 5.5p on a 75k buy....fair enough. Then the 75k is cancelled but the offer not dropped back. Makes me think they have raised the drawbridge and kept it there for a reason. Buy order in perhaps, and they don't want to give em away cheaply??? Stock is in short supply, and with no big sellers out there it seems. All imho. | lufc5
25/1/2011 14:13 | Quite often you get the besieged directors to agree some form of compromise BUT I KNOW NOTHING its just something that could/may happen | solarno lopez
