Posted at 10/5/2013 17:42 by praipus DTE is in a hot area I know a chap who sold a business like this to G.E. a while ago so there must be a chance of another offer. |
Posted at 08/3/2013 20:13 by praipus lol@ "want to be bought" that is a significant advantage to DTE shareholders. So LCG does have at least a chance of recovery and may even fall in to the "buy the glitch" category to use a phrase from Guy Thomas's "Free Capital". |
Posted at 08/3/2013 20:00 by praipus I sincerely hope so LCG is in the "some you lose category" so far..So what makes you think DTE might be better? |
Posted at 19/2/2013 22:57 by 2baffled DTE; Miffed, imo.. Quite clear why they wish to DTI/DEI. Update on NSW Proposed Changes to CSG Regulation |

Posted at 02/10/2012 09:58 by rhubarbe Well, t' wife and I have some LFD, titter ye not, that we could do with offloading before the Forbes gang erode any remaining value. So being as it's in an ISA, I was thinking about some DTE Oz, on the basis that Oz market has to turn sentiment wise sometime and we are patient, though mortal.DTI IPO (I may not have the cash required) but I will buy soonish after in my SIPP if some of my dogs show any signs of life befire then. Otherwise it'll be a tough decision on what to sell. |
Posted at 28/9/2012 23:59 by 2baffled re. post 14. .......There are very few who understand 'things'. DTE [DTI] have pre-sold all their 'stuff'. IGAS showed the way. |
Posted at 27/9/2012 22:19 by rhubarbe Do we think that Dart International with a London listing is a better bet than buying DTE on the ASX? |

Posted at 06/8/2012 09:55 by norbert colon From Motley Fool - 25th July 2012Datong (LSE: DTE) is a company that looks interesting due to the strength of its balance sheet and potential for future profits. The Leeds-based firm provides covert intelligence-gatheri The recent half-year results were quite optimistic -- a sentiment matched by the covering brokers who anticipate earnings of 5.1p per share this year, rising to 5.4p per share next year, and placing the shares on an anticipated P/E of just 6. That said; any profit seems almost a bonus here as Datong's net working capital of £5.7m, including £2.14m in net cash, and NTAV of over £7m, compares very favourably with the £4.5m market cap. Yes, the company made a small first-half operating loss. But it anticipates a far better second half, expecting "certain large orders" and has an order book of £2.36m to boot. Datong also won a patent infringement claim which had been hanging over it. Overall, I like everything about this company at the price, but it is a very small cap, so is risky on that basis alone. |
