I wondered that? Seems a very strange situation where no RNS were issued, seemingly outside normal guidelines...unless of course the major shareholder list is wrong, as it was previously.

I would have prefered to see D&D paid for with a greater percentage of paper. It would mean less shares in circulation (until the lockin expires) and the guys at D&D would have an incentive to make sure the shares performed. Whatever happens now they get 5.8M in cash.

Michael thanks for all the info on the EGM documents, I don't have them yet (my shares are in nominee account) so your posts are very useful.

About time DE bought a significant amount even if they are at a nice discount to the market price. It should send the right signals.

Jabberstocky - The figures are from the proposed acquisition document. The document details the Director's interests before and after the proposed share placing. Three directors are clearly taking part in the placing and increasing their holdings as follows:-

D. Elstein is acquiring 15,380,000
M W Barton 765,000
R S Price 1,000,000

Assuming all resolutions are passed at the EGM then I believe that the changes in Directors holdings will be reported in a RNS. I would be surprised if 3 Director purchases (in such a small company) doesn't have a positive effect on the share price It is also worth noting that although Elstein's holding will amount to just 0.56% of the enlarged capital he will hold circa £100,000 worth (about 4 times the annual fee that DTC currently pay him £25,000).
