snorkel agree.
Risk reward says in or out.

I am firmly in and back in front JUST with my buys on the dips.

Long or out (if your nervous) is the best place to be, short just doesn't make sense from a risk reward basis, 2 weeks and we will have results announcement, which we know are going to be large, PH has made that very clear that they are doing pretty well. just need Brexit to stay quiet or have slightly more positive commentary, oil prices falling, hopefully GBP rising. Short interest will add fuel to cover.
Most of the shock and awe articles ref air travel have been written and people are still booking their summer 2019 holidays as usual. looking like a deal is being reached ref financial services between UK and EU, because it makes sense for both parties. So does anybody really think airplanes are going to be grounded ..

After results it's anyone's guess even the good companies go down if a downturn persists and DTG does drift lower if no new news is being announced. But new bases are probably coming, expansion of fleet and possible demise of other operators could be catalyst to push the share higher after results.
I think the short side still remains a losing trade, applied too DTG at this point in time..

Amazing Tiger. And still some claim to short it. Nuts! If they are unable to find better targets to short they are sadly lacking in common sense. But happily I have filtered so no longer see that nonsense.

I could not agree more and will not be put off what remains a very cheap share.

We can look forward to DTG opening new bases as well as eating TCG alive on the quality of their product and price.
We are lean and mean and as you have found out well undervalued.

The returns over the last 1/3 and 5 years are exceptional

Thanks Castleford Tiger for passing on the estimates.

Just been crunching some numbers, and the 5 year average PE has been 14.0. Currently at 848.5p price and last eps 74.59 that's a PE of 11.4, so 19% under 5 year historic.

If the estimates come in at 95.9p, and the share price returns to average of 14.0 times eps, that's a share price of 1343p.

I not used my ISA allowance for 2018-2019, so as I now have some free cash, think whole of my ISA is going to be filled with DTG. I normally only buy shares when I think there is at least a 25pc discount, and think that's case with DTG now.

I dont see you are wrong

The pull back will in my opinion be short lived.
Half term results very soon and they will be exceptional.

Like you i bought the pull back.

revenue just over 3m

Same numbers showing for year after ( market missed that)
I have penciled in 3.5m revenue and a fair bit higher EPS.

By FY19 I mean year ending 31.03.2019.

The 95.89p eps you state is same as in Mornington Star estimates, but would like to know if this is from one broker or average of both.

I am also really looking for revenue, profit and dividend estimates from both Arden and Canacord.

On a different note, I have holdings in 4 different accounts for DTG, and today reinvested the recent 6p dividend.

I assume you mean year ended march 19.?

The current forecast is eps 95.89p.

What i call 2019 year starting 01.04.19 has not yet been updated.

Does anybody have forecasts for FY2019 from the two brokers, Arden and Canacord?

In the past, the combined forecasts shown in Mornington Star forecasts in TD trading were accurate, but since it's moved to Interactive Invest the whole summary sheets are a mess.

It's showing revenue of 3036M a 27pc increase, PBT at 110M down 18pc (which seems odd given the eps figures), dps of 9 (up 20pc), and eps of 95.89p (up 29pc).

Anybody have the actual Arden and Canacord figures?

I agree. If they were wondering around with the folks from Airbus, Gatwick could be on the cards. It would make sense as little additional marketing spend would be required in London as they are on the side of so many buses there.

Rumours and I stress unverified rumours of
Two new bases and 1 overseas base.

This is picked up from Jet 2 looking for pilots to be based Cardiff/Bristol.

As nothing for sale from these there have to be questions.

Will also be interesting to see the shoe shiners of this world lose faith in the universe as the upcoming downswing unfolds. That's where our resident shining boy will realise he was long luck and short brains all along. Mwah!

Oh dear. It appears that Drongo does not realise that if you short and the share price goes up, you loose money. I'm now wondering if he's U16
