19/10/2018 16:07 | Loaded up at 833.5 CT, you beat me too it. Ah well, plenty of upside, trading at just over 4x EBITDA and growing at 20% next year. Should be 1100p+ after trading update. You are paying about £12m per plane by my rough estimates right now for a growing, profitable company. Many of these planes could be sold for multiples of £12m which protects your downside risk. | eoghanocb
19/10/2018 16:06 | Thought price action didn't matter to most on here?!Closing at friday's lows ...nasty... am sure our resident fundamentalist will get a chance to "top up" at much lower levels from here. Every branch of the tree on the way down. Clever! | tongosti
19/10/2018 15:47 | looks like the selling is slowing down, maybe the bottom for the day | snorkelparker

19/10/2018 14:16 | It takes a bit more than a simple ma for that one but agreed the odds are overwhelming for bears to take over and drive DTG all the way down ...Newbies - watch this space | tongosti

19/10/2018 06:41 | Tcg ran close to the wind a few years back, its got way to much debt thats not producing growth in fact hindering it, a cruch point will come for sure, maybe the Chinese will step in again..there is more pain to come. How do you value a stock like this ? Off the top of my head take out goodwill & intangables and the business is 3bill in a hole and not earning..I cant see any reason for value without debt restructure or equity raise..its barks like a dog to me. Few days back was reading all the upbeat analysts reports not many months back on targets of 160 amazing how blinkered people are.I covered my shorts way to early but thats life live and learn | snorkelparker
18/10/2018 19:28 | I think so. The balance sheet is stretched. Cash profitability is too low and too many cash exceptionals and the cost base is too high (i.e all the high street stores that it obviously can't afford to close; otherwise they would have done so). If some of the idiots/geniuses on this board had a closer look at the TCG, they might actually see something worth shorting. Instead of looking for imaginary dots and then trying to join them up. w1 | woozle1
18/10/2018 18:57 | Could Tcg go bust? Tiger | castleford tiger
18/10/2018 16:11 | I remember asking RYA about jet2 at a RYA investor presentation and they dismissed Jet2 out of hand. A friend of mine used to present to Yahoo about its performance every month. He mentioned that there was this small co called Google that was starting to take market share. Yahoo management dismissed this information ... | woozle1
18/10/2018 14:45 | Cobalt is yet more good news! w1 | woozle1
18/10/2018 14:23 | Woozle I guess reference us taking on RYAN and their staff tiger | castleford tiger
18/10/2018 14:17 | SP did you mean this. Jet2 has no presence in Ireland: "Jet2 name is mud in Dublin" | woozle1
18/10/2018 08:33 | Agree 100% and all these companies going bust drives customers to the safe haven. another Airline gone over night that will reduce capacity to Cyprus allowing us to fill the gap tiger | castleford tiger
18/10/2018 07:35 | TCG now that's the company you should have targeted your shorts on..did post it on this forum at 125pence Flybe will be a struggle to stay afloat and a further nail in the coffin if Jet2 sets up in Southampton, it's time for the weak to be culled and i'm struggling to see who out there can stamp Jet2 out.. Jet2 name is mud in Dublin, Ryan are really struggling to deal with the margin pressure in Stanstead, staff moving across to Jet2.. pilots, engineers, these are not easy to replace. We are no doubt in for a pretty rough ride and the shorts may get a piece of profit, but without a serious meltdown it's difficult not to see the share going higher. If anything taking a step out of the market might be sensible, but we all know how hard it is to time the market. Tui revenues are approx 8 bill for Northern region which is predominantly UK and airline gotta think some of that business will be poached as other players diminish and choices narrow. Also, currently there is next to zero investment or appetite to invest or start in this market segment requiring huge capital cost and time, this will lead only to less players in the future. It's survival of the fittest and DTG ain't looking sick. In less than a month the figures are probably going to be huge, that aside it may not be able to mitigate a cautious statement going forward or even a weakening of near term forecasts and that's where the risk lies. But bookings suggest otherwise For those shorts with a thought process please state your case just how a company with forward of PE 9 plenty of cash, a healthy NAV and cashflow to service div payments and debt is such a dog.. | snorkelparker
18/10/2018 07:22 | Don't really know why you bother engaging with this child! w1 | woozle1 |
