Cannot understand why IC has not reported interim results.e-mailed them but have not received a response.
Great share and I love it to bits!(maybe something to do with being in profit)

No worries retsius. I still have a fresh folded FT from Friday so I doubt I would have picked up the IC. I might actually just do the subscription online... not sure if its worth my while because I employ my own basic filters.

I had a little time this morning so punched in some economics into a little toy model I built in excel:

The worst case scenario for DJAN always came out at £48. Notwithstanding my target of £55 and fair price of £75 in 2015. I see a similar gem in another stock priced in the 40p range and currently doing the maths on that. Will post it on VALU thread if you care to keep an eye in weeks to come.

I think it is very simple here. Since 2010, the earnings yield has ushered lower during the course of the year.

@PER of 7-8x – Current EYD of 12.9%

At the current price you get the about 16% on the 4 month ffd yield. That is, the results expected yr ending march at the current price means you're getting around a 16% yield in the bag. That brings the PER down to 5-6x. With business growth as projected, the yield will continue to usher down back to the current 12% mark which drives this price to around £60 p/s. Even at that price we see the PER back to around 7-8x which means that it is still undervalued on the year. That's why I think DJAN has potential to hit £75 by end of financial year 2014 which at the current rate of growth makes it a fair price.

We will soon see a transition between profit on revaluation and an increase on profit from rental income. DJAN is by far one of the best ways to get access to the property market yields at a huge discount.

Great company very conservatively managed which has allowed it to fully take advantage of the fall in property values. It added cleverly to its portfolio through out all the uncertainty and is now reaping the rewards.

75% of last yr earnings taken in the first 6 months this yr. Whilst it may put investors off as it's a revaluation, we always have the escalating incomes.
