I'm told the chart for D4T4 looks very strong....

I personally do not use charts, and wouldn't know a strong chart if it walked up to me and showed me a card trick :)

What I do (successfully) use is research and buying opportunities.

BB2, advfn have now moved the historical chart info from ISL to D4T4.
The chart shows a large, unconfirmed, Head and Shoulders pattern. The RH shoulder comprises of a smaller, confirmed, H&S with its target below the neckline of the larger one.

Just bought a few more ahead of the imminent trading statement. Last year it was on the 4th Sept but in earlier years the statement came later in the month. Either way I am hopeful of a positive outcome.

Pocketed another 10k this a.m.

MM's not letting me buy first thing.....so when the offer dropped to 125.38 momentarily from 127 I was in like a shot.......gift ??

Last Trading Statement was 4th September 2015 so one could assume a TS next month for the current year.

Surely any sells are technical/closing trades, as I just could not fathom the logic myself. Each to their own, and all that.GHF, you were correct, I was somewhat churlish and apologise to thread readers/contributors alike.Looking forward to Thursday, and beyond....we should have more positive numbers to digest.

Looked at the chart this evening and seems potentially quite good. share price is sandwiched between the 50 and 200 smas.
Buy after Eod close above 50sma or recent high around 141.5, for a confirmed INVH&S targetting approx 165
Eod close below 200 sma, sell?

Santa - On the previous thread I updated that I had fortunately doubled my money here & then took profits off the table, selling half my holding. Essentially running the remainder for free.

I bought back a chunk following the excellent results which were overshadowed by the Brexit vote & have subsequently retained my holding.

In recent posts you've referred to "mug sellers" and "sheep selling" which I think is churlish. You're better than that. Perhaps these punters wished to lock in large % gains or have witnessed the effect of previous ST tips??? Also, we are in the middle of the Summer season when any buying/selling has a more pronounced effect.

Personally I don't think this share is a "no brainer".
I think highly of Peter Simmonds (as an early investor in DOTD) and delighted at the progress D4T4 have made in the last 18 months. At the same time I continue to evaluate my holding here. finnCap's recent note indicated that earnings are only forecast to grow at 5.2% in 2016/2017 (they failed to upgrade). Remember that D4T4 only paid 8% tax in 2016 which will rise to a more normalised number this year of 15%.

Roger McDowall's 500k shares sale alongside ST's article will have contributed to investors locking in profits IMHO. Following Norbert's excellent AGM update, personally, I believe that D4T4 are under promising and will over-deliver on finnCap's forecasts...but it takes all sorts of opinions to make a market!

Well, the few mug sellers appear to have left, and the wake is a 10% mark down, from a fast growing, well managed company.

At 137p yesterday, I could see where his advice to traders to slice came from, but at 125p, they have missed the boat no doubt, and the price has re-based itself at the up trending support level cemented in June 2016.

As a consequence I have opened a T+20 trade, which nicely encompasses the next trading update.

Way, way short of Broker target price, and only a matter of when investors arrive once more.

My only downside is I cannot buy, only trade, as I am not liquid enough to do so.....although I hold massive amounts, and have average added from around 86p.
