Posted at 15/4/2011 11:32 by gdasinv2 DOO has no risk at all, All looks good with management effort...3 FOLD when Siemens will ask more....and of course they have signed to supply the FMCG companies. |
Posted at 11/4/2011 09:01 by jkershaw This is all very good news but can DOO deliver the crop? They have only managed 500 tonnes in 6 months. They estimate 1200 tonnes for 2010/11 so have to find 700 tonnes by end of 2010/11 season. Then to make up to the promised 2000 tonnes they must buy from 3rd party. Basic maths = Cash burn £3m x 1.63 = $4.89m 2000 tonnes x $1000 = $2m Shortfall cashflow = $2.89m They are struggling to produce 1200 tonnes without 3rd party and need to produce 4800 tonnes to be cash nutrual...making them a long way off mark So regardless of any conglomorate deals they have to grow more crop! |
Posted at 07/4/2011 23:48 by divinausa1 From UK-Analyst.com: Thursday 7th April 2011News that D1 Oils (DOO) is near to signing offtake deals for a large proportion of its planned harvest for next season and beyond sent the biodiesel producer's shares up 1.05p to 3.2p. This came as the group revealed that three European multinationals - for which it has recently supplied over 70 tonnes of D1 crude Jatropha oil (CJO) - are all looking to replace their existing oil requirements with the alternative fuel. |

Posted at 07/4/2011 09:53 by craftyspeculator J Teeling didn't exactly steer the Petrel ship very well in Iraq did he? Nor Persian Gold in Iran? As you can see, he likes high risk high reward plays where the outcome is paydirt or bust. To be fair to him, he did hit paydirt with African Diamonds. But DOO is looking more like a flop. JT has deep enough pockets to pick up and move on. Do you? |
