12/9/2016 07:42 | Could they use their mesh system for traffic management in the future | kwizza
12/9/2016 07:02 | Thanks timbo003 for taking the time and effort to attend and feedback. Very generous in spirit and much appreciated by me (and I am sure many other investors ) ! | multibagger
11/9/2016 23:21 | One other point to mention: JC (and SS) inferred that there was considerable political will to get the SMIP done and dusted as soon as possible. There is likely to be a shortfall in supply in the next few years and this has been widely reported in the press, for example: The gap between supply and demand will be further exacerbated if Hinkley Point is cancelled or suffers further delays. One way to avoid power cuts is to ration individual households or control their electricity usage through peak times. With SMIP enabled this can easily be achieved as the communication is two way and it will be possible to restrict amperage to individuals using the smart meters via the network. | timbo003
11/9/2016 22:52 | very encourageing 2k loss.....sell out now......buy back when share have ben diluted and further funds have been raised......jog on timbo | dreamtwister
11/9/2016 22:39 | >>>dreamtwi But leaving that aside, if you assume it was a 100 to 1 consolidation and all shareholders were rounded down, the consolidation takes place at the current price and there were say 10,000 shareholders on the register. The maximum any individual shareholder would lose would be just under 20p and if there are 10,000 shareholders that's a maximum aggregate loss of £2K, that isn't exactly a shafting is it? | timbo003
11/9/2016 22:24 | thanks for the write up timbo but nothing that we already know ! the pi will be shafted requards consolidation if holdings have odd numbers 20/1..100/1 surplus will be reclaimd by mm.....sp rises 10%....then fall 10% volume of shares will drop and the pi will be locked in !placing will struggle at higher price per share.....whilst the share price is low now is the time to buy ? further dialution wont do the pi any favours..... | dreamtwister
11/9/2016 22:22 | "the company would almost certainly require a further injection of capital". Excellent. | lwaxf13
11/9/2016 21:46 | Thanks for the excellent write up timbo. | cancun tango
11/9/2016 18:33 | Yes, thanks timbo003 - if you can find time to write some notes that will be much appreciated. | johnwall
10/9/2016 15:54 | Thanx timbo003. Look forward to your missive. | bilbosenior
10/9/2016 15:20 | I attended the show today saw JC's presentation (no time allocated for Q&As unfortunately) and managed to have a decent chat with SS at the CYAN stand, I'll endeavor to write up a few notes today or tomorrow. | timbo003
10/9/2016 06:57 | Posts like that surely won't help, unless you are shorting it. | activeservo
09/9/2016 22:36 | Share promotional event? It says a lot about the companies that resort to these kind of events to promote (I could use another word for promote but let's keep it civilised) their shares. What's wrong with the old fashioned way of growing revenue and profits and letting the share price take care of itself? Oh I forgot, they have tried that :-) After today's nosebleed on global stocks does anyone think this is going up on Monday? Markets have been at all time highs recently but this boat did not float on the rising tide :-( | lwaxf13
09/9/2016 18:17 | Maybe just me, but it seems MMs have run a tree shake over the last couple of weeks and now set this up nicely for Monday morning ready for the pi's who attend this weekend's share promotional event? | activeservo
06/9/2016 14:26 | Some good support at this level. If this was as dire as some make out it should have cratered today. Pleasantly surprised. I assume people are starting to realise the potential. | activeservo
05/9/2016 01:41 | While watching Nigella's latest cookery programme, my wife moaned, "I'll never look as good as that." "Don't be silly," I said. "With a bit of make up and camera trickery, you'd be identical." "Really?" she asked, perking up. "I could look like Nigella?" "Oh, sorry," I replied. "I thought you were talking about that potato." | bilbosenior
04/9/2016 23:16 | Sep 2017 !! | multibagger
04/9/2016 19:34 | sabre6 sept 17 ? | dreamtwister
04/9/2016 19:31 | On the all joking aside angle the share price could indeed be upwards. The winners in this market sector will make huge profits. However, to put it politely the failure of cyan to generate any share holder value year in year out does not bode well IMO unless there is a change in management. New leadership with the vision and ability might be just what it needs to take it forward. | lwaxf13
04/9/2016 16:02 | Iwaxf13 All joking apart I agree with some of what you say and I would not be to upset with 1p by Sept 17 but if I am correct the share price could well be 2 or 3 times that. Onward and upwards | sabre6
04/9/2016 14:08 | Sabre6 My bad, sorry about that ;-) £1 by 2017 then. Mind you this will be lucky if it can even hit 1p by September 2017. For years this world leading company has pumped out hot air and share dilution. Unfortunately hot air does not hold a lot of value. Can anyone spell pipe dream? | lwaxf13 |
