Thanks Johnpison. I made £379 from Gladstone and £450 from Virtual Internet. I sold Prime Entertainment for a loss today. The only shares I own now are the ones I bought today with the money, GTL Resources @11.45p, Rage Software @10p and Veos Group @15p. Hopefully my new investments will go up like they did last time and then I will be involved with another few new companies,

Best Wishes

When shall I buy in as this share can rise 100% so easily and hardly nobody even knows about it.

With only 1m shares in the free market any buying is likely to move the price up as witnessed today. Large spread though and small NMS is offputting.
Not one for daytrading though,(you wouldnt have made enough to cover dealing costs today) unless a concerted ramping campaign can be mounted to sucker a load of punters in LOL !!
I think the interest has gone out of this share since the hiving off of WorldTravel and the heavy tipping in the press like we saw last year.

Does anyone think that it is still worth having a go at this price??

Ermmm 68000 bought and no sells yet, the highest volume since early May when on a volume of just over a 100k the shares shot up over 40%.
Now why oh why didnt I have the courage of my convictions and pile in first thing.
FAnTA - did you dip in?

Looks like more have been bought today than in the last month! and there has only been two trades so far.

Hi FAnTA, you and I have crossed paths on this one before. I shall be watching very carefully at this level. Can't believe it's gone down this far. May be a protected seller not yet completed.

martin036 - we meet again!

I've been following this one too...

when they bounce they tend to bounce big! Tomorrow could well be interesting as I noticed a couple of buys go through near to close. And it doesn't take much volume to move this share either up or down!

May get in in the morning but you usually have to be quick.

Am I right in saying over 90% of the 10.35m shares in issue are held by institutions and directors which leaves only approx. 1m shares in the free market? :

Major Shareholders:
(12 Jun 01) 10.35m 25p Ords - Penlee Holdings Ltd 18.62%(dup), Henry Ting 13.98%, Laing & Cruickshank Inv Mgt 9.34%, REC Holdings Limited 8.53%, Mrs M H Golley 6.21%, Aralon Resources 5.38%, J C M Biles 13.94%(dup), R M H Read 8.74%, A J Biles 4.91%(dup), Other Dirs 0.52%.

Any hefty buying of this tommorrow is going to send the price soaring, or am I missing something here?

Down 28% on a hand full of trades,3400 buys v 5668 sells and no news?

I dont hold, but might look interesting for a bounce tommorrow unless there is any bad news waiting in the wings.

FAnTA, this is a great trading share as long as you can catch it on the turn each time.

From the TA side of my nature, the chart is now looking quite good on this, having shown a breakout(on volume), consolidation and upturn of MA's, and one bounce of the 20day MA already...

next strong signal would be another bounce off 59-60p, followed by the longer (200day) MA going below the others and the turning upwards. But some strong buy signals are in place already...IMHO only of course. DYOR

chart below shows 20, 50, 100 day MA's - 200day has not yet crossed down below the rest it is just meeting the 20day line at present.

On the move upwards again following recent retracement. Doesn't take much volume to move this one.

Looks like it may. Looks like it is a winner in this market due to results out and trading in line with expectations.

Surprised this board is "dead"

Just why has Culver "gone through the roof" in the last couple of days and will it last??

All buys so far - not that many though, but each buy moves the price significantly (both up and down so be careful!)

Anyone have any views - tempted to chuck in 1ks worth - CVE has had some good gains of late - and it was mentioned by Alpesh Patel (on ukinvest broadcast) on friday morning as one with potential.

Good day trading stock - £1k moves the price 1% - could be another 70% job (see chart)

Already up 16%

got on board and got off again, saw a straight line rise, no idea why but it financed this weekend`s excursions!

I sold my Culver today on the rise, suggest others do the same. This price is unlikely to last long. I am keeping my World Travel shares though (I am thinking of buying some warrants also if I can get hold of them)

Yesterdays fall was not actually a fall....it related to the demerger of World Travel who obtained their own quote.
Evidently the market took the view that the early price of around 25p was too low post the demerger and the shares recovered to around 60p,a fairer valuation of the remaining Culver.
But why the rise today to well over 110p is a mystery unless someone expects a bid.
IMHO they begin to look dear at this level whilst demerged WTL at 75p,down from issue price of 110p,look interesting!
