28/2/2011 12:18 | Took a little time but nice move. Hoping to see REAL do the same. | knowing
29/12/2010 14:54 | What this needs is a 'Tara' touch ....... Fundamentals are all there. Plus, imo, this co. is crying out to be taken over. Current management, seems to me, have had a 'steady as she goes' outlook for far too long. Time CRL really came of age! IMO. | 2magpies
30/9/2010 23:34 | I've put these on my watch list for any signs of an impoving sp, may have a few (HER) comes good over the next day or so! | ny boy
22/9/2010 20:42 | The Company's performance in period to date shows a significant improvement compared to the same period last year. Although, due to the cyclical nature of the business, losses were incurred which results in a deterioration of the financial position since the last published balance sheet (31 March 2010). Sales in the first four months of this financial year (to 31 July 2010) have been higher than for the same period in the previous year as a result of increased demand from the Company's main customers. | knowing
22/9/2010 09:09 | Maximum buy size is only 80K | knowing
13/9/2010 14:52 | Very illiquid 54M shares in issue Little debt An upturn in the retail sector could see this become very profitable and show a significant re-rating of the share price. | knowing
13/9/2010 14:43 | Looks like a Tara buys CRL thread is required to get this moving. | knowing
24/8/2010 10:46 | Run Rabbit Sawadee Ja | ny boy
24/8/2010 09:54 | Financials page is showing one. | knowing
23/8/2010 09:02 | how many market makers in this stock now? | outsider
19/8/2010 10:26 | A slightly encouraging statement today. | mctmct
13/8/2010 10:21 | CRL result commentaries are always a bit of this and that, so it seems to me. They almost appear to be trying not to attract too much attention. A cosy set-up? comfort zone? With that kind of turnover, brand distinctiveness, AND a full listing -- I am surprised a predator hasn't already pounced. | 2magpies
12/8/2010 21:39 | mrionionbhajee Share buyback is one of the resolutions to be put to shareholders on the 25th -- it's on the published agenda. The Company will seek authority to purchase up to 2,713,797 shares. However, --- imo --- there is considerable likelihood of a tekeover. | 2magpies
12/8/2010 21:15 | Tell you what Guys I have followed Creightons for some time now and this present valuation is pretty daft. Now if they do instigate a share buyback due to the illiquidity this will fly. | run rabbit
12/8/2010 17:39 | Hmmm. Could a bid be on the way? Some big cosmetics co.? Or is the share price rising in anticipation of the commencement of the share buyback (to be put to shareholders at the AGM -- 25th Aug) | 2magpies
25/6/2010 08:57 | So they survived, and even stayed in profit, which was a significant achievement and gives hope for the future. With NAV over 6p, revenues more than 10x market cap, and little debt, can a bid be long coming? | mctmct
16/2/2010 13:50 | The interim management statement looks terrible to me. What do others think? | mctmct
30/1/2010 21:14 | I just think the market cap (and for a fully listed company too) is just silly. They had a turnover of £15m+ a profit of £370k and borrowing of just £234k (down from £1.3m the year before). The CEO holds just under 28% Is this, fully listed, company really worth £1.5m? This 'hedge fund' guy could have an agenda? Perhaps. What say some big fish want to gobble this one up. Possibly a large business reversing into this? | 2magpies |
