26/7/2006 19:40 | WARNING Please note I have not verified the information contained in this thread so PLEASE DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH to VERIFY Creightons has increased sales from £3.8m in 2003, to £12.5m in 2006, a 229% increase in 3 years, due to two shrewd acquisitions from the administrators for £345,000 bringing in over £8m of sales. In the last year they have consolidated to one location saving on costs & bringing many more synergies still to benefit the company in the current full year. With just a 10% increase in profits and £90,000 saving in finance charges (adjusting for all other exceptional gains & losses) they could be on a p/e of 4.5 on a 20% tax charge......in the current year. From the 2006 results: "Significant overhead and operational cost savings are now flowing through to profits from the closure of the Storrington site, although this year only benefited partially from this." | outsider
26/7/2006 19:37 | Current year 926k Operating profit, should be 442k less = £484k + 49k non-recuring exp. cost = 533k, then add improvements as per statement, lets go just 10% = 586k, then I reckon a further 90k interest saving as loans have been cut by a massive 75% = 661k, = roughly 1.2p on a nil tax charge & prospective p/e of 3.7 On a 20% tax charge we are looking at very nearly 1p eps. and a p/e of 4.5. Plus this is a business than 3 years ago was turning over £4m, now £12m. | outsider
26/7/2006 15:18 | As well as the results containing the exceptional gain, it should be remembered they contain the restructuring costs too....which look to be around 50k. | outsider
26/7/2006 14:57 | well I wish you good luck with them then........ | badabing
26/7/2006 14:56 | Underlying earnings are around 0.8p on these,(taking out the exceptional gain) with the following statement: "Significant overhead and operational cost savings are now flowing through to profits from the closure of the Storrington site, although this year only benefited partially from this. I'd expect them to rise from here. | outsider

26/7/2006 14:24 | i do think the results are good.. and possibly bodes well for the future, but with 1MM, investors do need to be cautious, as a possible long term investment.. thats what put me off @ 2p.. anyway - good luck.. saffy.. | safman

26/7/2006 13:43 | Looks like the froth is blowing off these now.....trades will be fascinating to see..... | badabing
26/7/2006 13:42 | Delayed buys should show any minute now-I wonder what the cheapest buy was? I reckon 5p! | tonyx
26/7/2006 12:36 | Yes. We knew about that for some time. But, taken in the round, a lot of things are improving: increased sales, reduced debt, consolidation of production (increased efficiency), launch of products in premium markets (higher margin potential). Also, they have profit share for staff (which should keep them motivated). Can you imagine what would happen to SEO, if THEY had this much turover AND made a profit? I rest my case, M'lud. | 2magpies
26/7/2006 12:23 | did you check where half that profit came from today by any chance? | badabing
26/7/2006 12:21 | Turnover £12m+ Profit £836,000 EPS 1.5p I think that should equate to double-digit share price (Note also launch into medium/premium markets) | 2magpies
26/7/2006 12:16 | oh there will one or two no doubt......will be interesting to see what they paid and how many shares they bought..... | badabing
26/7/2006 12:15 | If there are any!! | tonyx
26/7/2006 12:10 | Spot on. Interesting to see the size of the buys to come through later. | tonyx
26/7/2006 12:04 | oh yes they can and they do......would you really want to buy shares from the same MM that would be buying them back from you later on an NMS of just 1,000 shares? | badabing
26/7/2006 12:01 | in terms of who controls the price from WINS... this may sound like a silly question but who decides to raise the price and to what level ...a computer or human interaction....surel do this for each share price????????????... | gambler99
26/7/2006 12:00 | Max, I don't hold this company....been a long time since I had any shares in these.....management still run the business like its a farm shop imo......this rise today will disappear soon enough......disgrace | badabing
26/7/2006 11:53 | Yep...WINS can do what they want with the price especially with the NMS being only 1K. | tonyx
26/7/2006 11:53 | Blimey! You still hold Bada? | maxinvestor |
