21/3/2017 17:57 | sainsbury £5.50 per kg on line | haroldthegreat
21/3/2017 15:16 | shakkaa, I don't agree with the company effectively getting their big balls out and planting them on the table by saying that they are circa 35% cheaper than the supermarkets and 20% cheaper than the discounters - you're bound to get a response and it won't be a pleasant one - but they do say 'on average'. Re 'no direct or comparable competition'; I can't think of another meat and food go retailer with 50 stores and which are mainly on the high street. | mcmather
21/3/2017 12:18 | Sailastra I use the Arndale shop in Manchester the same 3kg joint is £9.99 in the market which is 100 metres away, it's a myth that Crawshaws claim that there's "No direct or comparable competition effectively operating in our own market." Absolute bullsh#t, me thinks the investment proposition needs shaking up along with the BOD | shakkaa
21/3/2017 11:45 | Tesco Pork Loin Joint £4.00 Kg, so we are not the best buy. | playful
21/3/2017 11:24 | Morrisons Pork loin joint £6.21 kg Craw £4.34 kg | sailastra

21/3/2017 11:00 | Mmmm tough times ahead me thinks, glad I'm nearly out | shakkaa
21/3/2017 10:50 | shakkaa, it's across the entire industry; A MySupermarket survey of 175,000 products, commissioned by Dispatches, compared average prices of food categories on 23rd June 2016 and 31st January, 2017. The survey found price hikes in essential items in Morrisons, Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Asda. | mcmather
21/3/2017 10:29 | No updates before April and 5-7 new stores planned for this financial year. Apparently. | mcmather
21/3/2017 09:20 | Change of address, but is that just the head office or is there an outlet there as well? Usual lack of clarity of info! It also says hours changed but hours not shown...or is it me not looking deep enough for this unimportant information this morning. Unit 4 Sandbeck Way Hellaby Industrial Estate Rotherham S66 8QL | optomistic
21/3/2017 08:42 | I am surprised to see the "grow to 200 stores" included in the ad. maybe this is left in as it is still the longer term plan. As no potential new openings have been announced is it likely that the cash is at present building up from the current stores who we were told were profitable fro day on e (I believe that was the term they used) If we are in a stronger cash position, future development would be far easier...but a few words from the 'management' in the meantime would be welcome. | optomistic
21/3/2017 08:16 | There does seem to be an inconsistency of behaviour with crawshaw mgmt at the moment.. the website strategy narrative talks about ambitions to grow to 200 stores, but (unless they are keeping quiet), they still only have 50 stores/factory outlets.. they are not walking the talk... clearly I'm not expecting updates before the April FY results, but social media etc - you would have thought there would be some modest progression... something doesn't seem to square here at all... there is a complete radio silence and non-communication... not impressed, and think a huge part of why7 the share has been such a weak performer... | matt130
20/3/2017 11:27 | sefton1, I'd suggest that before you ask that question again, you look up the meaning of "wherefore" - just type it into your favourite search engine. And actually, I'd suggest that you don't ask it again - persuading people that your only interest is in pursuing someone else is a good way of persuading them that you're not worth any of their attention. 19/3/2017 10:32 | Watch as we rise from the phonix!!Every business goes the through turbulent times and it's how they bounce back that makes or breaks them! | sillyboy1
17/3/2017 20:02 | I wouldn't knock him, he's a better man than most at this game. Hopefully he'll be at this years AGM as I know the Chairman will listen to any suggestions he puts forward and hopefully act on them. I'll be too busy throwing tomatoes at Noel... | playful
17/3/2017 12:47 | davidosh, wherefore art thou. This share is still tanking despite it being your tip for the top. | sefton1
17/3/2017 09:51 | Filled that in, hope they find it useful and perhaps act on any suggestions they think would be helpfull to the business. | optomistic
17/3/2017 09:27 | Yes, K Harrison is the best point of contact and has always responded quickly. If you have a minute I'm sure they'd appreciate our contribution.. | playful
16/3/2017 11:40 | Thank you! | paleje
16/3/2017 11:12 | hi.. I don't have a number, but I have an email for their investor relations... Karen Harrison Karen has been really helpful on past queries with quick response times.. maybe this might be of help (yours - a long-suffering holder!).. | matt130
16/3/2017 10:58 | Anybody got a phone number for these guys? There are no numbers on their website for their stores or even head office. I've just emailed them to ask for a phone number but if anyone knows one...any one as a starting point...that would be great, tia if so. Never ever known a trading plc listed company not to be contactable by phone. EDIT - got one now, the person I spoke with didn't know why there were no nos on website. | paleje |
