06/10/2016 10:29 | Igbert....they are letting the managers decide which offers and which specials they want for their local demand. As one would expect lancashire folk prefer different items and have different tastes to Yorkshire folk and same again down to midlands stores so you cannot treat them all the same way. Standardised offerings and value points were not the way to go even though branding and store fittings may look the same. The top management know what the issues were and with store managers are now getting it back on track. | davidosh
06/10/2016 10:06 | What difference a day can make, yesterday trades were predominantly sells this morning it's nearly all the other way... IgbertSponk (LOL) you just can't be real suggesting that a high street butcher such as Crawshaws will have anything other than better trading throughout the Christmas period! | optomistic
06/10/2016 09:23 | Hmmm... so they're letting the managers (who are paid £28k) decide on pricing ? One wonders what the CEO does for his rather larger pay packet! Large numbers of vacancies can of course be the result of a large number of departures as well as for growth. Not sure that Christmas should be great for this company - the supermarkets heavily discount turkeys to get shoppers through the door. | igbertsponk
06/10/2016 09:13 | At the presentation last week the directors indicated that the changes to offering and reversion to individuality headed by managers in store with local knowledge had already made a difference over the last month or so since the strategy review. I think lots of hiring again is an indication that they are confident that growth is back on track and certainly a very good lead indicator for Crawshaws. I certainly have confidence that these guys acted quickly and decisively. You need to know your customer base and position in the market with retailing. The next results for the key Christmas trading period will be much more positive IMO | davidosh
06/10/2016 08:56 | Good demand from the start of the day, as it seems the marked down of a couple days ago and then bounce back at the same day, is signaling the lows are being reached. Charting Good Indicators all rising from lows and MACD moving over "0" and divergence. | master rsi

03/10/2016 10:54 | I dont think the business is doomed. However even at the current share price I believe its still dear. I'm watching and hoping to enter round the 25p bracket. It may not get there but if it does I think the risk reward to be good. | hybrasil
