Confirmation from the Financial Conduct Authority that claims for compensation from CPP are now closed (except for a couple of exceptional circumstances such as being out the UK for 6 months during the claim period), and of the totals paid out.

It appears that CPP is going to close its offices in Tamworth and Manchester, making its staff there redundant, and continue in York only, where there will be more redundancies.

I hope Martin Lewis is proud of himself.

Yes sold out too -£3500 in 7 days -not to be sneezed at. Chart looks a tad extended at the moment. Will look to renter on any pull back. May miss a bigger rise but happy with that profit in 1 week

If the provision for the PPI claims has not been fully taken up
then we could see an extraordinary gain of £20-£30
million in the accounts. Interesting!

Well, I believe CPP has a future and that it will come back, but
the chart for the last year or so shows a series of surges such as
this that recede very quickly; I'm sure there'll be another chance
to get back in lower than this for those who want one. All in my
opinion, DYOR etc
