29/6/2007 17:45 | The announcement yesterday of the next phase of Cozart's relationship with Philips was extremely welcome but should not have been a surprise to anyone with any interest in Cozart. Back in late January 2006, Cozart flagged up an 18-month life for the first phase of its joint development agreement with Philips and earlier this year reiterated its confidence in the programme moving on time into the second phase. The most unwelcome news would have been any fly in the Cozart/Philips ointment. I'm a very firm believer in Cozart having a very successful future and I have a holding in Cozart that reflects my faith. However, I can't see any particularly strong impetus for a re-rating of the shares much above the current level for a pretty long time to come. The forecast profits for Cozart this year are around the £1 million mark. If the current share price holds, come the 4th. July Cozart's market capitalisation will be around £47 million. That implies a pretty fancy p/e ratio. Cozart has said that we can expect the launch of the Cozart-Philips drug testing product in 2009. It may be a while after that before sales reach significant volumes. We may see good organic growth in Cozart over the next couple of years but the market gets easily bored with companies offering "jam tomorrow". Don't be disappointed if the share price stagnates for a good while. | wengerb

29/6/2007 00:59 | I confess that my charting skills aren't up to much, but this is the culmination of a chart done with someone who can't remember their advfn password but sends their regards to "biswell the turnip" and asks how his investment in BLR is doing and wants to know why he no longer tells us how stupid we are to invest in Cozart rather than BLR. I'll say no more on that subject. Anyway, the leftmost green line was the gradual downwards trend which was broken some time ago. There is now an ascending blue line which is the supporting trend and looking very good it is too. Looks like there is resistance at around 45p (the red line). If it bounces off the red line expect the blue line to offer support. CFB | cfb2

I think the company today is one completely different from the one 3 years ago, how do you view todays news? | cr4zyness

12/6/2007 15:44 | Lighter sentence for drug-help criminals ... The Scottish Executive will pay for four staff members from private company Cozart to conduct the tests as part of a £196,000 funding package given to Lothian and Borders Police. Chief Insp Plastow added: "The scheme has been operating in England and Wales since 2001 and has proved very successful. It's been estimated that every £1 spent has saved £9.50 on health issues and the cost of crime." ... | cfb2
