28/9/2004 17:07 | Glad to see I am not the only person on here that holds shares in this company. Bought this one at 9.3p and is now at 10.5p. Unfortunately I am new at the whole investing thing, and have to say I only invested because it looked like it was a recovering company. Anyone else done better research than me? Gary | gcshep

03/9/2002 11:51 | VENUS CAN YOU PLEASE LEAVE THIS BB FOR GOOD. NO ONE IS INTERESTED IN YOUR PYRAMID SELLING SCHEMES. CASHEVOLUTION IS NOTHING MORE THAN A CON. YOU ARE NOTHING MORE THAN A CON MAN FOR TRYING TO SELL IT. YOU ARE CLOGGING UP THE BB AND DESTROYING THE VALUE OF IT TO OTHER POSTERS. YOU ARE NOT WELCOME HERE. PLEASE GO AWAY. | dark matter
03/9/2002 11:45 | Hi Welcome to what I am starting to believe is going to be a great income maker in the not to distant future. I got involved with CASHEVOLUTION not so long ago and already my team is building nicely. As I am sure you have already read, it is quite simply a case of getting people to sign up through your website e.g. mine is WWW.VENUS.CASHEVOLUT The easiest way to start is to explain this system to friends and family. These are the people who will obviously trust you most. Then it is a case of letting the rest of the world know. There are numerous free traffic building sites and classified ad sites which I will list in a minute. These will help you get started but the success rate through these sites is limited. So the more you subscribe to the better your chances. Then of course there is good old leafleting. Takes time, but again, costs next to nothing. I have also had car stickers made displaying my website address. Then of course there is newspaper advertising. Almost certainly the most successful form of advertising. But it costs. I am actually about to put an ad into one of my regional papers. I will let you know how successful it was. Another idea is to speak to your local news agent. For a small fee they may be happy to slip on of your leaflets into each of their papers prior to delivery. I am sure you have now got the jist of what I am trying to say. TELL EVERYONE. So many people are fed up with their work these days, more and more people will be willing to give these ideas a go. Anyway here are those sites I promised: Best of luck. Lets make this work. Regards Gavin | venus

19/10/2001 00:16 | Superficially the business model is simple - 2 million+ UK companies/business trying to reach consumers - 1% take up rate by companies for "informative entries" at say £100 p.a or £10 per month per company - Revenue £2 Million p.a. The issue is implementation costs exceeding revenues. It seems that Scoot had an inability to put customer data on line in a timely manner which caused major disatisfaction to customers who refused to renew contracts. CUY are a B2B and is nto very consumer friendly. I like their equifax credit rating link and some other peripherals. So, if CUY can keep cost structure low then the database, and income stream, may improve over time. | kamber
15/10/2001 14:46 | Apart from a better operating system and a larger database , what is the difference between them and Scoot? Neither seem to have a viable business model | zeustrading
14/10/2001 22:04 | They claim to be making money from their directory at the operating level. Will they survive? | this_is_me
08/10/2001 13:29 | I hope CUY do well but the CUY directory is a B2B directory and is woefully out of date, lacking in useful information and useless for consumers. Just try looking for a plumber. I have a modest shareholding bought at 6 pence. There is a real need for a consumer directory which provides users with more information than Yell, Scoot or Thomsons which are just glorified replicas of paper directories. CUY are not currently focused on this aspect of their business. | kamber |
