20/12/2012 09:37 | Someone asked about the David Ross / iii connection - here is a copy of my post from Feb this year on iii. It is our Mr Ross - its a while back but he may still know people. I could be wrong on this but; Capital Accumulation Ltd - headed by Tomas Carruthers, owns Interactive Investor (iii) See 4th paragraph here; - it states; "Carruthers, backed by a number of individuals and Intrinsic Value, the investment trust, bought back Interactive Investor ..." Intrinsic Value plc issued this notice back in November 2001; - it states; "Intrinsic Value PLC Re Directorate Intrinsic Value PLC 13 November 2001 INTRINSIC VALUE PLC The Company announces that David Ross has resigned from the board of directors with effect from 13 November 2001. 13.11.01" Is this our dear beloved David Ross? surely not? | bakone
20/12/2012 09:07 | Mine and my partners ISAs are with iii, we're awaiting settlement from the Financial Ombudsman on a case we each have against them, turned down iii's offer more than 12 months ago. Case just keeps getting pushed back because of workload. Never changed the ISA provider, so much hassle and wanted to keep the same provider until they were forced to settle. | isalolly
20/12/2012 08:47 | Isalolly, "leaky accountants" has disappeared. I would also point out that iii and its sister company shareprice are in possession of a lot of my personal data, including portfolios and bank account details. As they have refused to to respond to my emails I have reported them to the FSA | ravenna23

20/12/2012 08:36 | cosalt.com Best guess is that they haven't paid the bill for the website and it's been blocked. What is it website domains? Going digging to see if I can find anything. | isalolly
20/12/2012 08:11 | Isalolly, if the company is being wound up against the wishes of the Directors, at least we might get the truth, and therefore an understanding as to why our investment has been wiped out. It is the lack of accountability for failure that makes my blood boil. I just want to know where all the money went. | ravenna23
20/12/2012 07:58 | Ok, DH here. Posting on here, iii, groupspaces and savecosalt is going to be tricky. Trouble with here is that you have to log in to see what's being said, iii is open for all to read, members or not. I can still post on iii, just posted this. As ven says, the company website has been unavailable since sometime yesterday. Rav posts on advfn that the reply from Denies says "The Company has not been involved in the closing down of the lse bulletin board, nor has it been consulted over the matter." Whilst they can sometime be economical with the truth or be slow in responding I'm pretty sure they cannot lie to shareholders so we mus assume what she says to be true. She does not say they are unaware, just not involved or consulted. Since D Ross is part of the Company as Chairman then the same must be true of him. That leaves five possibe sources for the "legal enquiry" imo. Bank lenders, Police , FSA , Auditors (KPMG), Sellers of business units (PWC). Any possibility that the sales are being forced against company wishes by the bank and they don't want any chat to scupper the deal they're doing? Would they have to tell shareholders? I think we need to consider all possibilities. | isalolly
19/12/2012 21:11 | Cosalt.com now shut down. Perhaps they are trying to erase the name from the web. Www.savecosalt.com | ravenna23

19/12/2012 18:27 | It's ridiculous he has the power to censor us; I can't post on LSE or iii. So much for freedom of speech. | s o r t
19/12/2012 15:42 | Reply from Cosalt. Note that they do not mention iii. The Company has not been involved in the closing down of the lse bulletin board, nor has it been consulted over the matter. Yours sincerely Denise Robinson | ravenna23
19/12/2012 08:22 | It appears iii is back up again, I reiterate please copy any of my posts wherever you like. Ross deserves the consequences of his actions. | ravenna23

18/12/2012 09:53 | I think KPMG are Cosalts accountants, PWC are accountants for Kandahar though. | isalolly
18/12/2012 03:23 | A letter, signed by 28 MPs, asking a series of questions regarding the running of Cosalt was sent to David Ross on the 22nd of November. He has declined to reply. His excuse will no doubt be that he was in market sensitive discussions with his friends at a private equity group regarding the disposal of the company's trading divisions. If these were being put up for sale surely the best price would have been achieved by announcing this to the market as a whole. It appears that the firm selling the business units, PWC, are also the accountants for Kandahar. No conflict of interest there then, they will doubtless be acting in the interest of all shareholders. | ravenna23
17/12/2012 17:41 | With Cosalt about to become a shell company what will Dross think of next? | ravenna23 |
