Bullster, the propriety technology for turbo machinery which CET has isn't at all reliable. As we've seen, erosion issues, serious shaft issues, serious issues with Spirax'

Dashcroft,
I'm no fan of CRA and don't think it has much going for it at these prices.
However, what is there to say that the tech isn't reliable?

- the DGC test failed due to the application not the technology, yes?
- the CET tech has been partnered with a number of good names, who are also paying out cash in those partnerships

What is there to say there's serious issues with Spirax????
They've had the manufacturing agreement in place for a while and now expanded that with a ten-year commercial agreement
That's hardly indicative of 'serious issues'
Are you at risk again of having your views distorted by bitter ex-employees?

Bullster, the propriety technology for turbo machinery which CET has isn't at all reliable. As we've seen, erosion issues, serious shaft issues, serious issues with Spirax and Star won't be much better and wouldn't surprise us if that was canned also.

CET will do more than take a back seat. Slough is to close, the rig will be no more and hasn't been running for some time due to some serious issues. In line compressors are no more than ornaments these days

What makes you think the Fu Sheng machine still runs? CET couldn't even keep their own one running. And 70,000 revs on one of those?

Well, if this is your reward for a 10year contract I give up! Aim stinks!

Dashcroft....Corac used to be 100% CET. The share price used to be 90p, buoyed up by the blue sky gadget, the DGC.

The business model of CET has always been to find a project, collaborate with partners then commercialise a product, either solely or jointly as in the case with Spirax. CET is built around the propriety technology it holds for turbo machinery, nothing more.

So what has become of CET since the DGC has been stood down, for lack of development cash, in its final lap to becoming the finished article and with the depressed oil and gas industry conserving cash.

Well, its taking a back seat to the rest of the business, sure CET can downsize and plod on with the on rig and in pipe compressors and the Fu sheng prototype that's been running at 70,000 revs/m for five years without stopping

As in the RNS, aerospace and defence get the first mention as the focus of what we do, which probably indicates the direction we are heading.
What once was the support is now the pillar.
And so you see, until the DGC ever sees the light of day again CET may well wither and die, but at four and a half pence per share we have other things to earn our crust as we moderately aim for the ceiling, this time..

Bullster, there is no 'beginning to get it' needed, well, not from me.

What you're not understanding is that this is the result of failure. Do you really think they wanted CET to go down the pan? This isn't a result of a 'specialist engineering company', it's a result of a failure.

RE- Late reported trades.

Deferred publication .3030

A member firm may elect to use the deferred publication facility where the trade is between the member firm dealing on own account and its customer.

..............................................................................................................................

For example, a market maker would usually draw up an "offsetting order" to fulfil an order. i.e. use what's coming in, to send out.

But sometimes market makers will accumulate their own stash (account).
Late reporting therefore allows the market maker to not be exposed in its business dealings.

Well we're up! (Edit: up at time of writing that is)

Those last 2 x 100k trades at 4.684p listed as sells were in fact 'B' trades (broker to broker).

with closure of Slough and, the Spirax licence agreement doesn't this make Corac a profitable cash positive company now, with cash in the bank?

2015 broker forecasts show £25m revenue and £0.84 loss before these announcements.

Exactly Dashcroft, don't pay wages to designers who are sitting around doing nothing whilst waiting for the next project to begin.

Now your beginning to get it !.

Bullster, not wishing the dole que on anyone. I'm just wondering what is going on here. With this RNS and a 10 year agreement with Spirax, how is this going to be sustainable when the key and only motor designer has been made redundant due to cut backs because CET simply is not performing. He joins quite a long list of people who have been let go this year, so I'm scratching my head here to work out what is going on. This comes after Spirax was warned not to run any of these machines due to risk of impeller explosion, no machine ran for a substantial amount of time whilst a solution was being explored which must have had an affect on the development of anything else.

By the looks of it, CET/Corac is going to hang onto licencing to bring some money in and that's about it, they won't be developing anything else in the future, there is no specialist engineering anymore, that side of Corac/CET is well and truely in the past.
