15/9/2013 21:26 | Crazy Horse Resources is the owner and operator of the Taysan Project, an advanced copper-gold porphyry deposit located 100km south of Manila, Philippines and 20 km away from the country's major port. The Taysan Project has a resource estimate of 459 million tonnes in the measured and indicated categories using a cut-off of 0.1% copper and an additional 509 million tonnes in the inferred category. Based on measured and indicated resources, contained copper is 2.6 billion pounds; contained gold is1.5 million ounces; contained silver is 12.3 million ounces; and contained magnetite is 14.9 million tonnes. A pre-feasibility study (PFS) based on a 15 Mtpa operation was completed in April 2012 and showed robust economics with the Taysan Project having an estimated after-tax NPV of US$512 million and an IRR of 30.4%, including metal by-products. The large measured and indicated resource will provide the basis for the Stage 1 project (15 Mtpa operation for 24 years) which can then be followed by the Stage 2 expansion to either double the throughput rate or extend the mine life to up to 40 years. | topinfo

15/9/2013 17:39 | So we know cash here alone is 4.4p and will last years and years with cash burn of just £750k a year. What is stake in Crazy Horse Resources worth exactly at current time? | topinfo
15/9/2013 15:16 | This management really need to communicate better. To many people these statements issued within days of each other would seem contradictory. Obviously these two statements can possibly be reconciled in their context but I think an explanation for the latter statement would have assisted investors. Sept 2012 -- Excellent drill results encountered at Basay continued to confirm the presence of long drill intervals of significant high-grade copper-gold-silver-m Oct 2012 The report has provided a non-AIM compliant estimate of resource and grade which the Board has concluded are insufficient to support a mining operation. | loverat
15/9/2013 14:55 | Leoneobull It does sound a little contradictory. The report on Basay also recommended further drilling but because of the dispute and current climate this and the other mine were put under a care and maintenance programme. Personally I am a little surprised they also said the mine was uneconomical in the same RNS. Perhaps this statement was made to exert some influence on the issuing of the licence. I understood from their statements that they have made provision for zero value in the accounts for Basay but still consider that there might be some value given further exploration and sentiment change. | loverat
15/9/2013 14:51 | I emailed a few weeks ago, no response either.Did you email the general address or to a specific director? | pilot48

13/9/2013 17:24 | The earliest known human remains found in the Philippines are around 24,000 years old. | bam bam rubble
13/9/2013 17:13 | Funny how cdc and the Philippine authorities were fighting over ownership of basay yet cdc concluded that open mining was not economically viable. This is contradictory and there may be value there. But a legal mess with no resolution in sight | leoneobull
