Orange - we'd better give them a quick call to warn them that iloveit / wearehere is on his way and give them time to get the men in white coats on standby.

The AGM is being held at the offices of Coolabi's solicitors so feel free to share with them all your grievances about the directors. I am sure they will listen to you intentently, just so long as you don't mention smelly fish, manipulation and FSA investigations.

Joester Loria Group appointed US Licensing Agent for Poppy Cat

25 May 11

Leading entertainment producer and rights management company Coolabi has appointed The Joester Loria Group, a leading full-service licensing and marketing agency, as the exclusive licensing agent for Poppy Cat for North America.

The Joester Loria Group provides innovative and strategic brand building services and will be launching an integrated licensing and merchandising programme for Poppy Cat and her colourful cast of friends, aiming at an audience of 3-5 year olds, with products inspiring adventure and fantasy play. Key licensing categories planned for North America include toys, games, and apparel.

This autumn, Poppy Cat, the lovable children's preschool character from the book series created by Lara Jones which has sold in excess of 2.5 million copies worldwide, will come to life in an animated TV series airing in the US on Sprout and in Canada on TVO, SCN and Knowledge Network.

Sprout is the first 24-hour preschool destination available on TV in over 50 million American households and its VOD offering is the #1 on demand service for younger children with over one billion views.

The show has just made its international debut on Nick Jr in the UK, and will be quickly followed by a global roll out across Australia, Europe, the Middle East and Far East.

Poppy Cat's UK and international licensing programmes are also forging ahead. Golden Bear has recently been announced as master toy partner. Additional categories signed include TV tie-in publishing, magazines, sleepwear and underwear, and games and puzzles.

Anna Hewitt, Head of Licensing at Coolabi, says: "The Joester Loria Group has an incredible track record in creating innovative licensing programs for many significant brands in the North American market and we have every confidence that they will secure some fantastic partners for Poppy Cat."

Debra Joester, President & CEO of The Joester Loria Group adds "The delightful characters and graphic style of the Poppy Cat brand lends itself to multi-category merchandise opportunities and engaging play patterns. We look forward to working with Coolabi and Sprout to market Poppy Cat and bring these fanciful characters from the screen to a full assortment of products designed to encourage imaginative role play."

Sigh.... it looks like iloveit's alter ego has returned. It's bad enough to have a total muppet on the thread without having one with a split personality.

I suspect you have hit the nail on the head. It is not for nothing that the share price is ailing so badly. If these licensing deals were of huge financial significance then the company would have released an RNS to announce them. But they haven't and that tells us what we need to know.

(I notice that the first deal concerning Poppy Cat was already announced in the Final Results, so it is nothing new and is now just being puffed).

Many moons ago this company had a property whose name I have now forgotten. It was a fluffy animal of some kind and at one stage you could buy cards with this character on them at WH Smiths. The cards were sold for £ 2.25 or so and Coolabi collected literally pennies for each card sold, something like 3-5p as I recall, or 2% of the retail price.

The company has indicated on previous occasions that the real money is made in production and not in licensing and merchandising.

more POPPYCAT !!!!!!! ITS GOING TO BE A BLOCKBUSTER.

Meet Poppy Cat, the newest member of the gang
on Nick Jr !

So, who are your preschoolers favourite TV heroes ? Dora the Explorer ?
Peppa Pig ? Bob the Builder ? Well, get ready for a new word to enter their
vocabulary - Poppy ! Luckily, it's easy for little learners to say !

Poppy Cat is the latest animated show to join the line-up on Nick Jr and,
from this month, will be on your screens at 10am every weekday. Each show
only lasts for ten minutes so there's no time for your little ones to get
bored, and they'll love the magical adventures that Poppy Cat and her band
of merry animal friends get up to. The idea of Lara, the little girl,
inventing stories for her cat Poppy will also inspire your own kids to get
creative and make up stories with their toys which is always a great thing.

The show is based on the beautiful picture books by Lara Jones, which have
sold over 2.5 million worldwide. I love the fact that we already had a Poppy
Cat book here at The Madhouse before discovering the show so the girls have
seen that you can make TV programmes from books as well as the other way
round, which they are more used to.

As well as encouraging story-telling, the programme highlights the values of
friendship and working together to solve problems. It made me smile to
recognise that Joanna Page - best known for playing Stacey in Gavin and
Stacey - is the voice behind Poppy Cat. It's a lovely, calm, positive
and enchanting programme to sit down and watch with your little ones, who
will be enthralled by the stories but also the bright colours and endearing
animal characters.

Once your kiddies have become firm fans, they'll love these fab activity
packs available to download for free on the Nick Jr website. In the first
pack (),
as well as practising word recognition, colouring, observation and writing
skills, they show you how to make a funky Poppy Cat space adventure mobile.
The second pack ()
is great for younger fans, introducing them to the characters and their
names with a series of colouring sheets.

I can't wait for a DVD to come out but until then, 10am on weekdays (when
I'm not at work) sounds like a great time for a cuddle and a snack on the
settee together !

Buying Coming in again as recent news again looks very positive,we can only feel that this is definatly a well kept secret ,some small buys in again at this level and who knows as Lord Gnome post i always had a good feeling about this stock and yet shareprice really has not exploded to a my 20p a share taget ,i suppose its down to Interims coming now as to what is the real story here.
6p a share and POPPYCAT could this be the GOLDMINE STRIKE?

The movement in the share price suggests that the company is headed for the dustbin, yet the news coming from the company in the last 12 months has been universally positive and the company has recorded a profit - albeit a small one. Sooner or later the company will issue figures that are going to give the market a pleasant surprise and the share price will react accordingly. Hopefully the next set if interims will give us a good clue as to whether they are translating good deeds into profits and cashflow. I am however focusing on next year's finals announcement. I can wait 12 months if the share price is going to double - and I still think it will.
The only fly in the ointment is that I am not at all sure as to how much cash these licensing deals are actually worth. Does anyone on here have any comparisons that might give an indication?

Licensing Programmes extended for Poppy Cat and Scarlett & Crimson

12 May 11

Leading entertainment producer and rights management company Coolabi has signed several more agreements for two of its key properties, Poppy Cat and Scarlett & Crimson, further expanding the licensing programmes for both.

Following last week's announcement of Golden Bear as master toy partner for Poppy Cat along with the show's debut on Nick Jr UK, Coolabi has secured an outerwear deal for the property with Silver-Knit which will include dresses, skirts, tops, trousers and knitwear. The new clothing will launch across the UK and Eire in 2012.

In addition, for its tween and teen girls' property Scarlett & Crimson, Coolabi has signed Beauty Works – a leading provider of health and beauty products – for electrical beauty accessories, and has also appointed licensing agent, Wild Pumpkin, to represent all licensing and merchandising for the property in Australia and New Zealand. This further extends the global reach of Scarlett & Crimson following the appointment of agents in Benelux, France and Germany earlier this year.

Beauty Works' Scarlett & Crimson-branded electrical range will include hairdryers, straighteners, manicure sets, mirrors and clocks. This collection adds to the existing hair and beauty products available through Rudolf Stein, Grace Cole, SLG Beauty and Japonesque.

Anna Hewitt, Head of Licensing at Coolabi, says: "The Poppy Cat licensing programme continues to build momentum in the UK and internationally and we are excited to have appointed Silver-Knit as the show begins airing on TV. We are also thrilled to add new categories to the ever-expanding Scarlett & Crimson range and to take the property to new audiences in Australia."

It's that time of year again, I'm afraid. Iloveit is either smelling fish or feeling shafted.Absolutely nothing changes in his pathetic world.

In 2009 we had this:

"iloveit - 16 Jul'09 - 11:49 - 489 of 640

IS THERE A FUTURE HERE FOR SHARHOLDERS I WONDER?
ARE THEY GOING TO GET SHAFTED?
WHERE HAS THEIR INVESTMENT GONE HAS IT BEEN DILUTED OR SUCKED DRY TO FULFILL MANAGMENT TEAMS POCKETS?
WE WANT ANSWERS!!!!!!"

And in 2010 we were treated to this pile of drivel:

iloveit - 4 May'10 - 16:28 - 96 of 246

Are shareholders not bothered about whats happening to the shareprice ?
WE have no movement up or any kind of buzz alerting us that this stock is ready to move up in value whats going on here?

iloveit - 10 May'10 - 10:11 - 97 of 246

are we still on course for my target 20p a share by the end of the year 2010?

iloveit - 11 May'10 - 08:19 - 98 of 246

Hello anyone got a view on why this stock is not moving up?

iloveit - 17 May'10 - 10:35 - 99 of 246

I will be searching and contacting company as to what is going on!

iloveit - 24 May'10 - 22:36 - 103 of 246
