Nice 22k buy at 136p just moved the price up on its own.

Robow, you probably have to fill in a W8-BEN form, which is a one-pager and very quick and easy to do, as CHT is a US-based stock though it's quoted on AIM. Check with Selftrade, or use a better broker :o))

I tried to buy this morning thru Selftrade but they don't provide dealing in this stock. Something to do with being a regulated stock. Any ideas as to what the problem might be please

Finncap today reiterate their 310p target for CHT:

bb2, I get the feeling that there will be a very sharp re-rating at some point, assuming CHT confirm that H1 is on track to meet market forecasts.

Beneficial exchange rate movements (the weakening of the pound) are likely to ensure that that the thread header forecasts will be met at worst and could easily exceed forecasts at best on translation.

Thought we might have seen a better response but then again it's no surprise given the way we've been languishing at current levels.

Yes very good news indeed Rivaldo, like you say their cash flow must be in good shape, another acquisition looks just round the corner. All helps to speed up the circle of growth.

Good news today, with group debt facilities being completely repaid "using surplus funds from day to day operations":

And CHT still has $10m of placing funds to use for acquisitions.

One could deduce that if cash flows are looking so healthy, then the upcoming H1 trading statement might read rather well.

Finncap's forecasts will have to be increased in sterling terms. Currently they're calculated at around $1.426:

- this year (2016): 15.22p EPS, based on 21.7c EPS
- next year (2017): 17.18p EPS, based on 24.5c EPS

At say $1.32, CHT's EPS becomes:

- this year : 16.44p EPS
- next year : 18.56p EPS

Good results from CRW today should reflect well on the state of admin systems etc in the US healthcare sector.

Techmarketview say this today - imo CHT's professionalism and better technology, software etc should help to gain them business over the "mom and pop" operators which they are consolidating:

"The US healthcare system is going through a period of change, and now around half of payments to hospitals will have a value-based component. That means the price hospitals are paid for a procedure relates to the success of the procedure, not just whether it has been undertaken. This approach is of course much better for patients, but it is putting greater pressure on hospitals to balance cost and care, which in turn plays well to Craneware’s position as it is heightening the need for data analytics."

Blue :o))

Some buying this morning - safe haven effect perhaps (as well as being extraordinarily cheap on fundamentals).

there's the reason for that 7% drop the other day - 50,000 at 120p - (wish they'd report it at the time)

It seems that CHT's cancellation last week WAS due to the footie - Proactive failed to inform CHT that the time of their presentation (the last of the day) had been brought forward due to the 2.00 kick-off. Apparently the Chairman was not happy....

It's much too cheap now imo. The fall is mainly due to the illiquidity given the miniscule volumes going through.

Forecasts remain at 15.22p EPS this year and 17.18p EPS next year.

Incidentally, I should add that I was at the Tech and Biotech Capital Conference yesterday. CHT were scheduled to be the last presenting company, but didn't turn up, with no apparent reason given (it's possible that this was to do with the footie as the timings almost clashed, though imo this is unlikely!).

I gather that the later AGM was attended by the CFO and the Chairman, but not the CEO, which perhaps is further food for thought that he stayed in the USA to deal with other matters, hopefully another acquisition.

Last year's prelims also gave no specific guidance as to current trading, so CHT are consistent in this respect, and everything turned out very well last year.

Hi rivaldo,

Valid points & RNS reported late confirming resolutions passed at the AGM.

The market have never afforded CHT the correct rating IMHO. Most probably down to distrust surrounding Paul Parmar...and I don't see anything changing in the short term. Especially with the absence of news surrounding current trading. Check the outlook statement from March. Quite generic and lacking in specifics.

Regards,
GHF

Rivaldo

£2,025 worth of shares were sold at 15.10. That triggered a 7% fall. How the hell can such a small quantity sold drop the price that much? It's ridiculous.

Good luck GHF. I can understand your point of view, but am happy to hold, and possibly buy more at these levels. If anything were known to be amiss CHT would presumably have had to make a statement to that effect, especially as we're only 14 days before the H1 period end.

I wonder if perhaps there's another acquisition in the pipeline, in which case perhaps the trading update has been delayed to announce alongside it.

I note that only 3 days ago Finncap were happy to reiterate their forecasts of 15.22p EPS this year and 17.18p EPS next year.

Incidentally, today's fall was on the back of a total of just £5k of trades on the day (unless there are more to be reported late), so this movement is really pretty meaningless in terms of speculation.
