Consolidated Vending expects profits in 2008 post Kiddies Rides integration




LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Consolidated Vending PLC posted a pretax loss
of 189,000 stg for the first half and said it expects to move into profit in
2008.
First half revenues were 1.53 mln stg.
Consolidated Vending further said the second half should yield further
reduction in losses with the introduction of the Kiddies Rides (UK) Ltd business
before moving into profit in 2008.
Kiddies Rides, which was acquired by the company, had a turnover of 938,721
stg and EBITDA of 155,839 stg for the year ended Oct 31 2006. Hence the company
said it expects a significant increase in profitability based on a similar level
of turnover after completion of the integration.
The company also said it continues to seek suitable acquisitions to bolt
onto the existing infrastructure and will make further announcements at the
appropriate time.

On 27 June 2007 we completed the acquisition of Kiddies Rides (UK) Ltd whilst
also raising new equity funds and refinancing of our debt position.
Kiddies Rides (UK) Ltd owns and operates around 360 rides in similar locations
to the Groups' photobooth locations. In the year ended 31 October 2006 the
business had turnover of £938,721, EBITDA of £155,839 and profit before tax of
£45,780. Based on a similar level of turnover we anticipate a significant
increase in profitability through integration into CV's engineering team and
infrastructure.

well i did my own research and decided to get 200,000 as well, i cant see any reason why CVd has fallen.

the photobooths look strong, and the kiddies ride business they own is profitable and expanding, the company look well placed..

the heavy fall has generated some action.

70% Fall on no news - looks like only a couple of sellers forced the price down.

Todays buys @ 0.4 and 0.44 have touched the price up to 0.26/0.49 online.
