24/11/2016 10:55 | It has been said that they need to come up with a 2m oz deposit to be of interest to majors. And just how are they going to do that? | 4marlin
24/11/2016 00:26 | No apologies needed KevJones2, I know where you're coming from because I've been there, not here but elsewhere. I'm sorry if my comments cause offence they are not intended to, I very much dislike what I see here in terms of useless management ripping investors off but it happens in the stock market and particularly Aim. It is painful when we're on the wrong end of it but, if the underlying asset is good, it usually turns at some point. Time is money, however, who wants to wait years for a company to come good? I used to buy and hold the old way a few years ago but I don't do that any more and thank goodness. I have learned to quit and take a loss early when it isn't too painful and move on if I've made a bad decision...it's much easier to see things objectively from the outside and it's often possible to re enter when (if) the tide turns. I'm in here at ~22p and I'm already closeish to my exit point, yes I will take a loss if I don't see some signs of change. But I see potential and I see ways it could happen. They might not suit the prof I have never met him, I hear he's a nice bloke but that's irrelevant, I've met Paul Johnson who many people hate but I think is ok and I think change might happen as a result of his introduction of MTR to the co. I hope the outcome here is to the benefit of all holders, long and recent. | paleje
23/11/2016 15:25 | They're only poorer if they sell, Goldeneye, but I agree with you management are not managing just drawing salaries and exes. It will change imo but not from us whingeing on boards. M/cap only 2m, someone should do the decent thing. | paleje
23/11/2016 12:21 | Are management asleep here. It's not acceptable for management to say they cannot understand why the share price is so poor. There is a serious public perception issue that needs to be addressed....I am not seeing this at the moment. The potential here is very big. I am surprised, especially given S Fitzpatrick's association that some deal has not yet materialised. The poor shareholders are even poorer. | goldeneye5
22/11/2016 10:53 | oh look.....the price has dropped again.....when the PR blitz starts, you can be nearly sure they are looking for funding.jmo.. | thecynical1
18/11/2016 23:41 | I posted this on the LSE CGNR bb and on the LSE MTR bb (the latter included a little further commentary): "Wow. I find myself in a bit of a quandary. I find it very to believe that cowboy Johnson invested in CGNR 6 months ago (was it 6 months?) and then decided last night to rail against Conroy about issues any half-decent large investor would have already known about BEFORE investing - I believe it's called "due diligence" or some such term. I know Johnson has done a runner from MTR and its ever-dropping share price but nobody can tell me he was so incompetent as to not know the answers to the very questions he was asking last night. It is for that reason I think the whole thing was staged. If not, Johnson is indeed the worst large investor in the history of investing. However, (and this is where my quandary lies) given that it was an appalling lack of due diligence on Johnson's part that led to MTR investing in a company they obviously knew very little about (otherwise why the questions last night) then I have to note that Johnson's questions were almost identical to the very same questions I (and in fairness, Goheavy) have been asking for years here (Goheavy was asking these questions long before me but I, and others, disregarded them - some still are). So, I wonder which is it? Were the questions staged, or was MTR's investment done with an appalling lack of due diligence? Regardless, even CGNR's latest large investor is asking the same questions I've been asking for two years here. Now, there's a quandary!" | kevjones2
18/11/2016 18:42 | Cheers 4marlin. I can understand Johnson's frustration, the thing is he can do something about it, or at least if he acts with o'Sullivan he can, whereas pi's can just be frustrated. For now. | paleje

18/11/2016 16:07 | What do you mean, 4Marlin, have MTR reduced? Or are you assuming they don't see a way forward, if so I would have thought it was maybe a bit early to give up. | paleje
18/11/2016 15:12 | Looks like Metal Tiger starting to see the light...as did Pageant, Kenglo and many of us. Very predictable. | 4marlin
17/11/2016 17:57 | Net current liabilities around E1.3m and that's after E1m placing in May. Expect another stonking placing soon. Maybe even tomorrow? IMHO. | sleveen
17/11/2016 17:34 | I'm surprised he dare show his face after tidays kdr wipeout ! | catswhiskas
17/11/2016 16:37 | Weird goings on at Conroy Towers. KDR are being led the CGNR route into what appears to be oblivion. However, O'Sullivan who must be in the know decides to increase his holding to whatever another correction RNS says it is. Probably best to see if Conroy says anything tonight that isn't the usual bs he's been peddling for years. | kevjones2

17/11/2016 15:00 | O'Sullivan's purchase was tiny but making it may have dimmed likelihood in some people's eyes of his last tiny top-up being strategic, or that's how I read it. Isn't the prof doing a presentation tonight? | paleje
17/11/2016 14:25 | Approx £2 million market cap now...unbelievable | goldeneye5
17/11/2016 13:28 | P o Sullivan increases holding and share price drops 16-17% over 2 days....weird | goldeneye5
16/11/2016 16:51 | Astonishing drop considering Conroy was yet again "delighted" with the latest appointment. | kevjones2
16/11/2016 16:32 | That's a big drop on tiny volume...seriously unloved | goldeneye5
15/11/2016 19:14 | Quality appointment. | bageo |
