13/1/2011 15:12 | Sorry odvod, been away from the board, I reckon the mine financing is in the play and that some serious player is about to take this company to the next level. Im sure we will get an rns eventually to say who the buyer is. I expect it will be a major with big pockets who was waiting for the scoping results before major commitment. I know that there has been interest for a while. When the buyer is done, we will probably hear then. tay to tay ups and down of the share price is not something i worry about here. This will completely re rate soon i think. | goldeneye5
13/1/2011 15:03 | I agree the rules are flaunted, illustrated by the FDI RNS a couple of days ago: Crossed threshold first on the 29th Dec assumably carried on selling to cross two more thresholds and only notified FDI on 11th Jan. But I think this illustrates that it could have been anybody who bought, traders or a single big investor. I also can't see how anyone can work out who got those shares last week. My personal opinion is that because the share price is being held down (more buys than sells yet down) and block buys/swaps have been clocked up the past few trading days, there is a buyer about and in all likelyhood could be the buyer of those shares last week. Would explain the absence of an RNS, but obviously the RNS rule has clearly been flaunted whatever the scenario, so does not give support to any IMO. | geowge

13/1/2011 14:56 | I'm wondering if we'll get a load of sells next week when any T10s from Big Wednesday expire. | peetle
13/1/2011 14:25 | CatsWhiskas, wouldn't that 12.5m share buy (5th January) on its own have taken one holder over 3%? I don't understand why the theory you quote is the only explanation. | geowge
13/1/2011 13:44 | Makes sense Cats | yorgi
13/1/2011 13:43 | maxbubble - 7 Jan'11 - 11:21 - 2797 of 2881 "It seems somebody bought the shares and then moved them on again maybe to smaller holders/clients" Good call maxbubble I would say a gang of traders bought the shares ensuring non of them went over 3% and then as you say moved them on again to smaller holders clients .Its the only explanation for last weeks volume . | catswhiskas

13/1/2011 07:54 | are they selling shares which they do not have or all they have? will they get shares in the placing at 6 shortly? they might have the mine financing in the play so no limits on the number of shares that can be presold at a premium. suites well for a nice profit holding down price and buying time for the arrangements it is continuous buy order beeing filled so no RNS. each day 1 mio shares or whatever till the placement. but at the beginning kenglo cleared if above true - it is a good buy as scoping study must be very ok that it goes directly to the mine development more or less | odvod
