04/5/2006 10:56 | Been in from the beginning brum. Wills & Co flotation rec. I liked the look and timing of the omega3 strategy and the 'portfolio' seemed to be an attractive foundation. As previously posted, I have had to average down fairly aggressively to keep it all worthwhile... but remain optimistic. Thanks, dobo, will expect to be appropriately surprised when I get back from the sun! | dave-w
03/5/2006 17:54 | brum 78- A tip in the daily mail by jeff foster back in November iam shure they will come good in the end it was just a hell of a shock to see them one day at 3.5p and then less than i paid for them the next. Though i could of sold at 5.5p, they clarly were't going to make a profit and a flat spot did appear on the chart as no more buying. So ive only myself to blame there. But i realy need 8.5p. So selling at 5.5p wasn't realy an option. Still thave ticked up a bit now, i dont realy no why unless its pay day end of month. dave-w- Wright they will rise to the edge off the stratispheare and then beond into the abyss. And maybe even as far as Scotland. There that should do the trick!!!. Soon... | dobo
03/5/2006 14:00 | So what causes a stock to quickly appreciate in value? Fundamentals? News? Management? Well yes, to a degree. But what REALLY moves a stock price northward that you just purchased? Answer: A Huge volume of buyers having been directed to the emergence of that stock by a qualified service which has a reputation for doing so. THIS service does: lienocele.lemonpie.b | branfor
03/5/2006 13:51 | Ok fair point!!!! dobo Maybe i am a tad optimistic however apart from one sale from a departed director there has not been any adverse news as yet!! .... As for forecasts on this share and where we will be by June i have no clue at all but yes 8.5/10p seem a distance away, but i am adamant that the company has some good pr info to put out if they choose to... Out of interest what made you purchase these shares dobo/dave/ym Another slight tick up on the bid | brum78
02/5/2006 11:38 | dobo - 26 Jan'06 - 17:22 - 202 of 293 You know it seem's that what ever i say somone does the entire opposite just out off spite na...shurly not. They will crash tomorrow and the price will plummit to non recoverable depth's. There that should do the trick. -------------------- Didn't it just! Some vision that, dobo! | dave-w
02/5/2006 11:28 | 1st CVL, now MTA. Looks like we share a similar guardian angel, dobo! Glad I'm going away for a few weeks. My blood pressure could do with a crash! rgds | dave-w
02/5/2006 11:05 | Brum78- her's a list of other firms ive put money into minmet ruptured orchard furniture liquidated Emmerald energy which i had to sell at a loss to pay a tax bill there's been film co. as well all gone bust and now conival which ive put 90% of my savings into to recope my losses, i had hoped it would pay for a new career by early june.....do you honstly see them rising to at least 8.5p by then, because i didnot when they crashed back to 2p. But forgive me for feeling a little depressed wont you!!. | dobo
27/4/2006 16:17 | I dont know about desperate, poor timing perhaps i doubt he paid anything for them, perks of the job. You are right though the numbers do not add up i thought the same but thought i was missing something. On the 25th i recall seeing a trade at 1.5p but not more than 1mill everything else was at a higher price, maybe we will get an rns confirming this but cutting it a bit fine if so... | brum78
27/4/2006 13:11 | Must have been desperate! Wonder who picked them up at this giveaway price? No RNS announcing a new or increased notifiable interest so they've either been split up or, (is it allowed, without notifying?) a mm is holding them until the share price recovers as it seems to be doing. By the way. Check the last three days trades. Apparently only 2.7m shares were sold on the 25th... all above 2p. Thats what the share price apparently reacted to. Where do these 7.5m shares fit in? | dave-w
27/4/2006 10:43 | Maybe he needed the money quickly. Nice to see the share price recovering. | yachtmonster
26/4/2006 15:51 | why 1.5 p when he could have got a lot more?/? | alikan
26/4/2006 14:23 | Well rns explains Richard Thompson former non-executive offloaded his stock a quantity of 7.5 million at 1.5p...... | brum78
25/4/2006 19:26 | Brave or stupid lol!! I understand that the pxs/sirco factor may have played a part however this company is not a one trick pony see (Portfolio Products) if it decides to move..!! It was not to far back that js purchased a bundle at 4.3 odd. Dobo what makes you think that these will not recover.. If there has been a leak theses are the most likely chain of events 1 Company to issue extra shares to raise equity for rollout of new products 2 SparkyBrand to get shove from Sainsburys 3 Rerating of cvl due to supermarkets launching own products with added omega3 in 4 A major holder selling stock (unlikely only 3.3 mil traded most of that private investors) Remember this companies stated aim is to nuture and devolep brands and they have Andrew Regan lurking in the background he didnt do a bad job with LLoyd Grossmans sauces and a strong cheif exec in js .... Providing we dont end up with a zillion shares i wouldn't write this one off. Although i would not advise anyone to buy this share until news confirms what is going on. Any views welcome... | brum78
25/4/2006 17:45 | Brave man brum. Best of luck. I'm sticking with mine but should, of course, have sold half my latest lot on the double.. but then I wouldn't even have broken even overall. Ah well, I'll see if I've got room enough to get these back in the bottom drawer! | dave-w
25/4/2006 17:39 | Am guessing that today's collapse is due to concerns (right or wrong) that Sparky will get the elbow by Sainsbury's as part of its juice range ratioalisation (as just happened to Sirco). Even without that, the share price is still considerably overvalued in my view, for a hopeful tiddler in an overcrowded market. | wiganer
25/4/2006 17:26 | well iam ruined, these arnt going to recover in two years never mind july!. | dobo
25/4/2006 13:56 | I always expecting a cash call at some time, so the company could bring out the next phase of products. As we know the company is not exactly cash rich at present. Oh well i'm sure an rns is imminent i managed to get some more at these prices only time will tell how wise that was.... | brum78
25/4/2006 13:17 | big MM dump - fund-raising ?? | double6
25/4/2006 11:58 | Well marked down by 32% at present i wonder if some bad news is being factored in. I know provexis who have a health product in the juice market have had their product withdrawn from Sainsburys... In my view the company needs to get a roll on with these new lines....... Come on we need some good pr...... | brum78
05/4/2006 11:59 | Pushed back up on a 10k buy!! There was also various reports on the news about folic acid being added to bread unfortunatly only caught the end but shows why cvl have to move quick in a fast changing industry and create brand awareness. | brum78
05/4/2006 11:38 | Good news and bad! £5.5m. Half of balance sheet net assets.. good; practically all of which are "intangible".. bad. (Or, at least, extremely risky)... but thats the game we're in! | dave-w
05/4/2006 11:03 | OUCH, marked down on small volumes, although last couple days there has not been any volume at all. Anyone thinking about topping up at these prices with 167.52 mill shares out there if you take the midprice at present 3-375 at 3.38 company valued at just over 5.5 million. | brum78 |
