Hmmm, I was trying to get another 50K @ 6.25p yesterday and this morning - there was a chance until someone just mullared it with that buy.

Got offered 50K @ 7p :-)

Oh well, glad I've been buying heavy before the bounce while you can actually get the shares in quantities over 5K :-)

Clearly, MK's holding is no longer listed under director holdings and does not ammount to a declarable holding - so if he did sell, we wouldn't know. This is the last RNS I can see relating to his holding (but only looked quickly)

RNS Number:0429U
Conder Environmental PLC
09 January 2004

OK, where is the stock coming from? Killingly?

Good summary CR.

Still here and been waiting for them to tick down again - clear now why they haven't ;0)

You're lucky to get those - I was trying to buy on Monday and they had to work anything over 25K then. The mm's have obviously found a seller of a few - reckon the sellers will dry up quick tho - Dow up 320 points tonight.

Well there's a few other buyers in there other than me yesterday:

Really worth looking at this one imo. This has been an unmittigated dog for years, it's lost money hand over fist - £6.5m in past losses. But there lies the tail imo.

Mike Killingly (ex.chairman)had been in charge since the floatation. He seemed to have been insistant in keeping all the parts of the business even tho they never had the cash to run all of them!

Recenly he has left the company and has been replaced by Graham Setterfield as non-executive Chairman. In Jan 06 they got a new FD, David Griffith after the previous FD left the previous Oct.

The Chairman, MD and FD have been buying shares recently, pretty decent chunks.

Recently the company appointed David Stetford as Director of Engineering, former of Southern Water.

In Oct 06 they sold the Cerva business that have very limited contracts.

In Jan 07 they sold Vikoma International Limited and its subsidiaries to Energy Environmental Limited for £2.3 million in cash. The cash has paid down debt and left them with working capital (something they badly lacked) for the remaining businesses.

In Sep they published their year end results - at this point they said they would make a small profit in H1 and a profit for the year. Sep is 5 months into their first half and so I expect they have a very good clue as to how they are doing when they said that.

I always reckon it takes about 18 months for these turn around issues to bear fruit and I reckon that's about now.

Board changes, structural changes, directors buying, back in profit and results in January. Market cap just £3.5m - they have £6.5m in previous losses to set against tax that has to be worth £1.5m in itself. Is the rest of this business worth just £2m when they are back in profit? They won't be paying tax for ages from what I can see and only need to make £350K p.a. to be on a PE of 10, half that of HYD.

All looks way too cheap to me and I suspect it's because investors remember the past and haven't taken into account the changes here imo.

nice, but I suspect there's more to be had if they stayed independent myself.

Prelim results were announced 5 months into H1 this year so their quote re being in profit in H1 has a lot under the belt already.

AND a bid at 15p must be on the cards, they have a good product, and name.

Well when you consider these made a loss of 1.7p a share from continuing ops last year but the directors have said they will make a small profit in H1 and a profit for the year and directors have been buying a decent wadge (which is hard to get hold of believe me, I've tried) then the potential looks huge. HYD trades on a PE of 20. If CDE were to do £1m profit on the same rating as HYD they would be 45p a share.

They also have past tax losses of £6.5m so no tax and probably tax credits for some years to come imo. These tax credit's alone would be worth £1.5m - the company is valued @ £3.5m which seems extremely cheap potentially.

Yep, buy when you can, as so often, have to do it, when the MM have not got to many buyers. This company is on the move, and has big growth plans. Just what we want, start from a very low base.

Managed to get another 50K today @ 6.25p :-) Had to work it through the morning but very pleased. Can only buy these when it's quiet or else you have to buy silly size.

An interesting piece the way the new management (that have been buying shares I should add!) describe themselves to their customers now:

"Led by a progressive new management team to drive our business forward, we have a brand new strategy in place that promises Unimer members and other builder's merchants more than ever before".

This company has a strong name with consultants in specification work but with all the floods in July sales may have been affected, but long term should be good.

Topped up last week. Happy to see the rise. Also unhappy to see the rise - I'd planned on a few more yet.

If I sold you'd see it J.L - have a large holding now and I doubt they are easy to offload just like that.

Got to be a 3 month wait at least - I would imagine with all the flooding, the recent sale and theier now much stronger cashflow the results in Jan will look a massive improvement and they have said profitable. January often a time of floods too so the results could be out at a topically good time too.

Are they taking the P? 15k ish delayed buy an they put the offer up 1.25p. Spells out to me that they do not have much stock. So why not close the spread and get trade they make money both buys and sells. Is that to simplistic?
