big line cleared probably been overhanging for a while ready for an up move.just read through last update with interims in sept all reads well for second half and we should be getting some news on new markets any day.

Commenting on outlook, David Phipps, Chief Executive, said:
"The challenging market conditions experienced at the end of 2008, as anticipated, continued into the first half of 2009 and the tightening of liquidity in the base metals markets negatively impacted upon H1 Revenues. We expect the business to benefit from more normalised market conditions in the second half of the year.
"Our key focus has been to diversify our future revenue streams and we are pleased to have achieved our target of developing a robust core operational and risk platform to enable us to diversify in to other commodity areas by the end of the half year. As a result of this diversification strategy we will be entering into the energy market in the second half of the year closely followed by other product developments. We expect the benefits of this to accrue in 2010. "

since then copper has flown and news of entry into energy markets and elsewhere due.
could well be a turning point today.

Hopefully some good will come out of it.

He was associated with a time of failure so perhaps it shows the CE is getting on top of things and getting people round him who hopefully will deliver.

only that the level of business that the company is settling has obviously shrunk so that the much heralded fixed fee deal they put in place with sucden no longer works.good but for bad reasons in my view.better news

The management to be honest cannot be trusted they don't give a damn about investors, they only have personal gain in mind and I suspect that should anyone try and JV them they will out the existing staff imeediately ....

Waldof,

I think you should explain your ' pleasantly surprised quite soon' comment.

What exactly do you mean by that?

it's great being a shareholder here...fully benefitting from the sharp rebound in commodity prices and activity!!!
one way traffic in sells with an aftermarket print in 1m @4.8p...nice.
precious little enthusiasm from company in the few releases they do make these days indicates that business model isn't working for shareholders or there is no concern for shareprice as there is another agenda....cheap buyout??
either way it is not surprising that someone has taken a 10%+ discount for an out as its easy to get the feeling that all is not well.
