Holdings in Company

Coal of Africa Limited (the "Company") was notified on 1 March 2017 by TMM Holdings (Proprietary) Limited ("TMM") that, as at 21 February 2017, TMM held 215,000,000 ordinary shares of nil par value each in the Company, representing 9.7 per cent of the Company's issued share capital at that date. The shareholding decreased by 1.46 per cent following the recent placement of a total of 289,050,199 shares by the Company to Yishun Brightrise Investment Pte Limited and M&G Investment Management Limited.
