19/12/2016 11:33 | Asked if we would be refunded for the money spent on UCG from Government was one question, and was told it was only £3,000 a year for each license, well i said that should still be refunded, he said they would look into it, it worries me that money spent badly doesn't seem to be a priority in trying to get it back when sold licenses that were no good to anybody. | therealdeal5
19/12/2016 11:04 | That's funny, Graham told me he spoke to some druggy for a few minutes last week and that was it. | eburne1960
19/12/2016 08:32 | Well today's RNS is not a surprise after my little chat with Graham Swindells last week, I spoke on the phone for about 1 hour with him what a live,y fella, asked quite a few questions of the management and the licenses, all great questions according to him, also asked about the share price and what they are going to do to support it, well I got my answer this morning, PMG did the same thing after the share price slid yo 40p after changing their advisor it went up to 60p so will this now do the same? | therealdeal5
14/12/2016 14:48 | problem is that without a partner we are not worth an awful lot. | angus17
13/12/2016 15:20 | Seems this share only goes one way! Others go up to come down, this just keeps falling, the company need to support the share price with just a tad of some good news, we need a partner that's all that will get this going now, will be back at 1 p by Xmas! At this rate! | therealdeal5
11/12/2016 12:10 | Good to be get rid of UCG for environmental developmental and strategic reasons. North Sea gas much less demanding financially and logistically! Algy said he'd dumped UCG about a year ago. | clickon
11/12/2016 12:09 | Wow what a table top, could come back to 2 p for support But what a run you guys have had.. | shares188
11/12/2016 10:55 | So will the directors of CLNR write off the whole of the UCG investment at the end of the financial year (31-12-2016)? That will clean up the balance sheet and just leave the gas/oil investments so I can now see why 2.5p was the right price for new investors to pay last month. | anley
10/12/2016 14:35 | Perhaps some techie could kindly provide the full CLNR article or at least a link? | cpap man
10/12/2016 14:33 | CLNR in todays Daily Telegraph.... "Government kills off plans to burn coal under the seabed" Plans championed by Algy Cluff to create a new North Sea industry burning coal under the seabed to create gas have been officially killed off after the Government said it did not intend to support the technology. The 76-year-old entrepreneur, one of the pioneers of the North Sea oil and gas industry, spent years lobbying for support for “underground coal gasification” which he hoped to carry out at a series of locations around the UK. The Scottish Government imposed a ban on the practice last year, forcing his company Cluff Natural Resources to halt its most advanced plans for a UCG project in Kincardine and pin its hopes on projects in England and Wales where it believed the “political situation is more favourable”. But following an independent review, which concluded the emissions from the process would be significantly higher than other sources of gas, the UK Government on Thursday ended any remaining hopes, saying it was “minded to not support the development of this technology in the UK”. Mr Cluff appeared to have already seen the writing on the wall earlier this year, putting the UCG projects on “care and maintenance” and instead focusing on building a business in conventional oil and gas assets. In May, he said he had concluded that, absent Government support, “continuing to pioneer for a future energy formula which would convert cleanly and safely our offshore coal into gas was not consonant with our shareholders' best interest”. In a statement Cluff Natural Resources said it was “disappointed& | cpap man

08/12/2016 20:36 | The Government have announced today that UCG will not go ahead in England, that is a good thing because the commissioned report said that it would have produced much more CO2 than North Sea gas. Algy basically said that he dumped it a year ago. However I think that the Government should compensate CNR because they encouraged CNR and others to apply in the licensing round implying the chance to bring it to fruition. There is the cost of research and testing. | clickon
08/12/2016 14:59 | You will never beat them! | therealdeal5
08/12/2016 14:59 | I see they are putting buys through as sells again! | therealdeal5
08/12/2016 07:42 | As I said Previously, Cluff can't be in talks with anyone as he would not of been able to buy shares here! So no talks are taking place at the moment on a partner! What is he up to? | therealdeal5
07/12/2016 10:34 | Thank you, I agree, the danger is always that an announcement is made and they start rising. £1.8m seems a vey specific amount? | clickon
07/12/2016 10:27 | Yes I do and the way the shares are reacting is similar to the last placing price and where I picked up most of mine at under the placing price. | anley
07/12/2016 09:30 | Hello Anley do you reckon that yesterday's and today's trades are the underwriters trying to make a few quid? | clickon
05/12/2016 16:39 | Its tight out there for those underwriters who want a turn on there 2.5p. I am waiting for news from Mr Cluff as the last piece was not meaty enough to drive the price to 3p+. | anley

01/12/2016 16:12 | Yes , these placings are a disgrace to any decent shareholder,shouldn' | condom2
01/12/2016 09:03 | So new shares are issued, the price is still just above issue price, so where are all the sells coming from? The new purchasers selling old shares they hold to get their averages down? If all the rights were taken up from the offer by institutions, there should be no shares avaialble to buy, it seems to me that they are giving PI's the chance to buy at a higher price than the II's recieved. How decent of them! | therealdeal5 |
