Graham Malcolm Wood said every TCF is worth £1.00 to a share price, that's where I got the info from, don't shoot the messenger,

Here is some good news after discovering the gas field over 40 years ago, Chevron is now ready to take it on as it is now viable!

ANLEY When I said 'its all a bit vague' I didn't mean your post I meant the companies information about the placing and what they hope to achieve. I am wondering weather they will attempt to self fund on positive progress. Just means more placings

Sorry missed your last, it all seems a bit vague, in the latest RNS which says the shares have been taken up, it says there is some information I'm trying to find it. He must have been able to convince institutions relatively easily. An easier job than the last placement mess up!

Thank you Anley, we'll just have to see. Unless Algy has taken any profits over time, I don't think he did, though I may be wrong, he's only down to buy 1m, Not trying to level his position?

There will be lots of new shares to buy...................

"Following First Admission and assuming that the Resolution is passed at the General Meeting and Second Admission takes place, the Company's issued ordinary share capital will consist of 329,393,532 ordinary shares, with one voting right each."

So with that number in issue @5p = £16.5m M/C is still no way near the brokers estimate of value so what are they saying to clients now?

It just depends on how the broker can get the new shares in to safe hands BUT as we all know many of the City funds have delivered poor returns this year so if the shares were to go to say 3.5p or above then there would be selling.

It looks to me as if the 4.5p+ shareholders have been shaken out and we have a new level coming in at 2.5p so we have started again from a higher price.

However, to get the price really going needs a valuation of the 3t of potential gas is worth over X years extraction and at Y cost and only then can we get a feel.

TRD said in one of his post that he could see £1 but I don't think he was right unless he has some reasonable figures for us to debate.

People who read this BB should ask their broker to approach the CLNR broker to buy stock.........that is how I bought last time..............bon chance if you have a good broker.

ANLEY Hopefully the advantage of institutional and directorial ownership is that it has the chance of more market stability for the share price as it rises?

The institutes obviously didn't want to pay more than 2.5p a share, why? Because they know they can make a shed load of money now!

Just got back from work to see the share price has collapsed, well I did say we were due a placing its here, so I can buy in Monday off to Mexico on Wednesday so want to get back in before I go! I was just lucky selling before this happened! Close call! A profit isn't a profit until it's banked remember that!

placing at 2.5p ! Exepected a higher price but i guess gives us our market value as pitched

Aim market; 20% loss to investors since inception in 1994 ! Venture capital without the 30% relief you get with venture capital

The placing today was presumably the reason.
Whether to buy back in now?

You are right and we small investors are kept out - that is how AIM works with the right sort of Memo & Articles but remember that all shareholders have a vote over the issue of shares............its just that we don't do this.

Also under the terms of the license don't they have to have done some drilling in 2017?I wonder what Halliburton would charge at cost?

ANLEY I quite agree, they should already know how far this £1.8m is to take them. I should have taken some profit at 7p. Originally I wasn't going to buy shares until a placing. However thinking that it might be a higher placement price due to good results I might get caught out coming in and out. Silly me! Tempted to do that next time but that's tricky. I don't know if I'm mistaken but Mr Cluff says the placing is not open to the public, does that mean only institutional shareholders or all existing ones ?

CLICKON...........the company needs to make it quite clear what is going on in the Placing Document which they will be busy on as we write.

If you were asked to take stock you would be asking this question so we need to wait.

I too will be a buyer if I am satisfied that what is said in the Placing Document sounds real - I sold 50% of my holding up in the 5p range and I would like it back. But I have a feeling that I may have to raise my price on the basis that 300bbo is worth more than 2.5p per share to 2.8p.

This funding comes as no surprise except to say that one broker is making the book and the main one not involved. I do wonder why!!

So we have STAGE 1 going ahead and perhaps some more news on a big oil man to join the board - don't forget one in and one out to keep costs as low as possible Mr Cluff.

3.7 TCF or 300m+ barrels of oil.............what is this worth to CLNR eventually?

Cluff Natural Resources Plc ('CLNR' or 'the Company')
Proposed placing and subscription to raise approximately GBP1.8m
Cluff Natural Resources Plc, the AIM quoted natural resources investing company, announces its intention to conduct a placing (the "Placing") and subscription (the "Subscription") (together the "Placing and Subscription") of new ordinary shares to raise a total of approximately GBP1.8 million (before expenses). It is intended that the price at which all new ordinary shares are to be issued (the "Placing and Subscription Price") will be at or around 2.5 pence per new ordinary share.
It is intended that the new ordinary shares to be issued in connection with the Placing (the "Placing Shares") will be issued in two tranches, with the majority being conditional, inter alia, on the approval of shareholders at a forthcoming general meeting (the "General Meeting"), which will be convened to seek authority for the Directors to issue and allot further new ordinary shares otherwise than on a non-pre-emptive basis, further details of which are set out below. All new ordinary shares to be issued in the Subscription (the "Subscription Shares") will be issued conditional, inter alia, on the approval of shareholders at the General Meeting.
The Company's Chairman and Chief Executive, Algy Cluff, has indicated an intention to participate in the Subscription. Certain of the Company's current significant shareholders have also indicated their intention to participate in the Placing and the Subscription. Members of the public will not be entitled to participate in either the Placing or the Subscription.
