06/9/2016 06:55 | Cluff Natural Resources was in focus, advancing more than 21 per cent or 0.4p to 2.42p ahead of the release of independent data which is expected to confirm larger gas resources than anticipated in the southern North Sea.Chairman Algy Cluff told the Mail that independent consultants are set to publish findings by the end of the month. 'There is no doubt the North Sea has a fair amount of gas yet to be discovered,' he said. 'But conventional exploration teams are reluctant to wildcat [drill in an unproven area].'The North Sea is being developed by independent exploration and production companies as the larger ones shy away from the higher risk of extraction because the oil is trapped in unconventional places.'There's no lack of interest, but it's a funding issue,' Cluff added. While the supermajors can offset the cost of exploration against their profits, independent oil exploration companies find it difficult to secure funding at any level and there are currently no subsidies to support them, Cluff said.Still, while many homegrown exploration companies are struggling with debt and commitments, the Chinese are the biggest investors in the North Sea. | phil1969

05/9/2016 21:47 | Thank you Kristini 2. I think it must be a theory. Good to hear from you . | clickon
05/9/2016 21:28 | it'll likely be a theory, unless anly has insider knowledge... | kristini2
05/9/2016 20:15 | Are you confirming that the board departure is linked to a deal ?If so how do you know that?Or is this just a theory ? | clickon
05/9/2016 16:36 | Ask yourself a question...........w Thanks......... | anley
05/9/2016 07:58 | Not enough shares in free float it seems really hard to buy, Cluff holds quite a few shares already, he bought a lot higher than this 5p so I think we are safe to say it should hit that easily and more at some stage, people asking why Cluff isn't buying, maybe he is t allowed to, due to sensitive information and an RNS due with CPR | therealdeal5
05/9/2016 07:48 | We are better off without the crowd, | therealdeal5
05/9/2016 07:44 | Up 22% and empty bulletin boards and only 1 tweet. Crowd not arrived yet. Imagine the volatility when they do!!! | phil1969
05/9/2016 07:42 | So difficult to buy at the bottom and sell at the top. As long as your happy with your profit when you take it that's all that matters. Bought and sold UKOG 3 times including the day it multibagged. Never afraid to go back in if fundamentals change. CLNR has the same potential, especially as Cluff at 76 will want to go out with a bang and his coffers full. Not afraid to average up at these levels as the story unfolds over the next month or so. | phil1969
05/9/2016 06:26 | What "Deal" ? | condom2
05/9/2016 03:50 | How do you know that the board departure is ready for 'the deal'please? | clickon
04/9/2016 15:48 | Hi Phil well to be honest I watched UKOG etc kick off, and this is Gas which is more desirable than oil right now! This should in all honestly be way above where it is now just on the rumour of what Algy has said, buy in rumour sell on news hey? I got into XEL at 6p many years ago and sold at 54p watched it go to under £5.00, also had GkP at 6p 19p and sold at 72p, guess what? Lol that also flew north without me, I can find the sticks at the right price just can't find the top, Oh only one I managed to do that with was Encore Oil many years ago, the good old days, bought at 28p had 400,000 they went to 150p I cashed in at 140p, so if does anywhere near the names above I will be ecstatic,Encore Oil never produced a cup of oil, just an Expo, same as GKP and XEl, so you see I know how it goes, get in before the masses arrives! Nice holding you have there fella, good to see a few people on this board, | therealdeal5
04/9/2016 08:49 | Nice holding Therealdeal I'm at 650k and still building my position on dips. This will do an 88E, UKOG etc etc in the coming months possibly even off the back of next CPR release in Sept. Just takes a bit of patience. | phil1969
04/9/2016 06:03 | 2.2 trillion cubic feet (tcf) of shale gas"? That would be 62.3 billion cubic metres (62.3 cubic kilometres), a cube, 100m deep, 10km wide and 62.3km long, At current natural gas prices the value of 2.2 trillion cubic feet is equivalent to $5.5 billion, And we have over 3tcf apparently, find out this mint on the CPR! I know a great share price when I see one! | therealdeal5
03/9/2016 11:27 | I will buy more if it goes under 2 p would like 1 million shares here, have half at the moment! | therealdeal5
03/9/2016 11:26 | Kristin 3tcf of gas is not insignificant read this, I seriously think you are not thinking straight about this due to being so under on this share, this is a mega find, you need to start thinking more positive, this has made this company a game changer! | therealdeal5
02/9/2016 22:46 | Maytrees i would be thinking about taking profits, this is AIM !! Do you know what the performance is of the AIM index since inception, that was in 1994 when it took over from the USM ? | kristini2
02/9/2016 13:53 | I assumed that this little project CLNR was of little significance to Algy, piggy bank money and a little retirement speculation project ! | kristini2
02/9/2016 11:25 | A board departure ready for the deal................ That is how I see it as the shares approach my valuation on 2.5p before any further news that could propel the price higher........... | anley
02/9/2016 10:53 | Greetings all The dip today encouraged me to re-enter at 2.10 | maytrees
02/9/2016 06:53 | Well it's all about luck and judgement, when I saw Cluff had bought a license from PMg for £1 that was the icing on the cake for me, and I kept looking at all the trades that we're going through, they were all recorded as sells, I knew something was afoot, let's all just stay level headed and hope this now goes to a level that reflects the Gas they say they have, PMg went to 27p with nothing, no oil no gas, no income when I first got in 5 years ago, this could easily do the same thing, Algy will need to stop soon and he's not getting any younger, so my point is this may move faster than we think as he needs to retire and leave his family with a lot more MOney than they have now! | therealdeal5
02/9/2016 06:41 | you timed your purchase well, i paid a lot more for mine shortly after the IPO | kristini2
01/9/2016 21:24 | I'm very good at finding the bottom of a share, just need to master where the top is, never seem to get that right. | therealdeal5 |
