In theory,each of those 5 providers could gain a 20% market share.

However it appears that PHB Choices may have already contracted 25% of the CCG'S and could pick up a very large part of the remaining 75%.

At this time NHS ENGLAND wants an open field but has asked for feedback from the CCG'S as to a national platform this Autumn.

PHB Choices is the front runner for several reasons.

1/ It's live up and running today.

2/ Its partner, NHS/SBS is used by ALL the CCG'S for their financial and payroll.

NHS/SBS is a TRUSTED partner and the CCG'S have been given a green light by NHS ENGLAND as the suitability of PHB Choices. (1 of 5)

The competition has major problems getting through the door in a very short timeframe,( is the first.)

The second is the heard instinct of the CCG'S, they can justify their own decisions by looking early adopters.


The clock has been ticking for years the CCG'S are under huge pressure to hit 100,000 PHB'S :, time is not on their side.

Working with the early adopters, our customer, NHS Shared Business Services (NHS SBS) has developed a compelling business case for CCG's to use PHBChoices. PHB's are projected to represent GBP7bn of NHS Spend by 2020/21 with 100,000 budget holders planned. Working with our current CCG's, NHS SBS has identified significant efficiencies and savings when PHBChoices is deployed: the ratio of PHB's able to be managed by each CCG staff member increases fivefold and there are additional cash releasing savings of around 25% of amounts spent.

FSB Contract signed; not expected to make any money this financial year.....well what part of Cbuy is going to make money this year!!!

"The contract is for a 5 year period with revenue comprising a mix of implementation, SaaS licence, support and hosting and a share of transaction revenue. Although it is expected that there will be some contribution of revenues in the current financial year, this contract win is not expected to change market expectations."
