06/1/2010 17:41 | CEAF price has caught up a bit recently and the minimum payout (with no breach) is now around 4.6% pa. The interesting bit now is whether the STOXX 50 can get above 3303 at redemption. If it does there is 5 times gearing on any rise above 3303. | ianbrewster | |
04/12/2009 12:28 | As long as the DJ EURO STOXX 50 stays above 1651 till July 2011, then CEAF will pay out a minimum of 69.5p. 1651 would be a 42% fall from the current level of 2859 - the lowest it fell to recently was 1810 in March this year. If you believe that we will not breach 1651, then there is a nice 7% pa return through to maturity. If anything comes back from Glitnir and Kaupthing, then that is a bonus.
