Yep it 3 bagged for me :)) I've had some success with delisted companies, holding two more at the minute so fingers crossed for them.

Cleardebt proposes a MVL, with the sale of the IVA book on the 29th of January the company is to be wound up. To speed up a return of 1p per share David Mond will lend the co £500k and a new entity Cactus Group LTD a dormant co will take over the remaining assets of Abacas and will also be lent £500k by David Mond for working capital purposes. Can't win them all but glad to get some sort of return, before the 5th of April.

BB2 for info - at first I thought Clear View was Clear Debt - it's been a while since I was invested here.

Looks like competitors so a plus for Clear Debt but the bad press isn't good news I assume

Results out for the year ending 30th June 2014.
I'm still optimistic we can see a return on these at some point.

Highlights.

Revenue. 8,674,436. 8,702,254
Gross profit. 3,029,715. 3,529,166
Loss ebitda. ( 255,067) 1,384,125
Loss from operations (901,322) 472,652
Loss before tax (1,195,763) (206,674)
Loss after tax (1,661,399) (167,160)
Cash generated 78,626. 1,972,779.

Iva's 10,028 versus 7,696 in 2013.
DMP 205 2013 was 6,187 but Abacus disposed the majority of their book 5,800 to third parties. Exceptional profit of 2,280,455 with goodwill impairments of 3,463,353 of this 1,521,294 related to the debt side and 1,942,059 from the insolvency business.
Lots of time and efforts being used at the minute to get licences for the new FCA regime both Abacus and Cleardebt applying , deadline 31st December 2014.
They expect some businesses will be casualties of this.

Hi,

what are the options after the de listing if you still hold shares in CLEA?

Not a holder but watching with interest what happens to the company and shareprice....good luck to all holder still holding.

I have noticed the 2% commission to trade these shares and the minimum commission of £49 albeit reduced temporary to £39...thought a bit excessive..

GF - Agreed - I was trying to buy several million but was a little greedy in setting prices. As my remaining holding was fairly insignificant I have exited to take the capital loss rather than leave it tied up.

I think these will soon be back over 1p - My plan was to offer my holdings to DM. I thought the tone of recent results was very downbeat given the cash value of existing IVAs/DMPs. Perhaps a little downsizing to continue the business or an outright sale of the assets which are worth considerably more than the MC. Either way you should do well

BB2 - I hope this is another Spectrum 5 bagger for you

Best wishes SJ

Well I'm still a holder. Frankly I expected to get more shares at lower prices. But then again I expected buying at higher prices too (to cover short positions, to buy at bargain prices etc.etc.)

I've still got a good feeling about this one and really believe the ones with courage (or stupidity) enough will be nicely rewarded in the end.

To the future! Cheers!

It is certainly a high risk and you need to be able to leave your funds for several years and even then may have trouble selling so as you say NOT for the faint hearted. Before the delisting news these traded at five times todays price which in my book makes them cheap, chances of consolidation in this sector are very high imv dyor etc.

It is, hence the share price
Listed or delisted, it's still the same company.
