Gave up on this a long time ago but got an alert from halifax today to say i have received £120.80 for my holding of 400,000 shares. This is meant to be a first and final liquidation payment which amounts to 0.0302p per share. Well i guess it is mildly better than a kick in the teeth....just....lol. Seriously did not think i was going to get anything from this mess and had actually forgotton all about them.

I see CAP will receive a slice of 1.7million. Unfortunately a bit late for holders. https://www.gov.uk/government/news/38-million-fund-will-use-f1-technology-to-design-greener-cars

07:12Monday 07 September 2015 0 HAVE YOUR SAY Lancashire-based Clean Air Power has been bought as a going concern for £250,000 by Hardstaff Dual Fuel Technology Limited , a subsidiary of Vayon Holdings Limited. The troubled Leyland firm – the global leader incompression-ignited natural gas systems and software for heavy duty vehicles – had been seeking a buyer for some time. Clean Air, which counts Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich amongst its shareholders, said it intends to cancel its admission to trading on AIM. Rodney Westhead, Chairman of Clean Air Power Limited, said: “As noted in previous trading updates, the fall in oil prices globally has had a drastic impact on sales in the US and Russia. This significant challenge to the business was compounded by our customer on the South East Asian program deciding in June this year to extend testing rather than to proceed directly to the full production program as anticipated. “These circumstances created significant pressure on the Group’s cash flows. The Board, supported by KPMG, has conducted an exhaustive strategic review, exploring a range of refinancing and restructuring options to maximise the value of the Group, but the response from potential investors and buyers was disappointing. “The Group could not continue without financial support and, therefore, the Board is satisfied that this was the best course of action.” Shane Hussain of the Vayon Group said in a message on the firm’s website: “We at Vayon are delighted with our new venture, and I look forward to meeting you over the coming weeks to further outline our investment plans for the integrated business.”

Consider hTtp://privateprosecutions.org We are about to use it to obtain redress from the criminal gang of pump-n-dump rampers led by the AFN poster "mclellan", who committed suicide. The police seem to have no appetite to pursue the case now that the ringleader is dead. A private prosecution of the gang, followed by civil action, is therefore being mooted.

So far no one picked the relevant scent; what needs to be investigated is the source of millions of shares being dumped on the market early this year down to below 1p ; were these shares owned by members of the board who new by then the likely outcome of the OEM decision and sold with inside information? I bet that is the case; so what to do?

I had 0.5m which for me was a large holding now down the Swanny. What's more i have worked on projects for new owners Hardstaffs. No bad words about them, but well teed off with the CAP mismanagement like others here!
