I'm in for some more at this price. Thought Connected Corporation was progressing reasonably well. Clearly some risk, but current price looks quite good value.

this stock moves q violently and in a vacuum of news and usually only small trading... when it's down like this you always worry - eg is the US company that bought the rchive business struggling etc?

Just a thought - anyone know much about Connected Corporation? - wonder how much 1% of the equity is actually worth. I suspect that this stake COULD be worth a great deal indeed; it's in the books at nothing.

Worldbid shares now at 18c-19c, this could turn out to be an unexpected

Worldbid Expands Partner Program

VICTORIA, BC, Jan. 06, 2004 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- Worldbid Corporation (OTC BB: WBID) recently increased its reach with the international trade community and new and continued partnerships.
Through a partnership with Impexpo Business International (IBI), Worldbid will provide trade leads to IBI's members through a cooperative website located at which will be promoted to IBI's trading community in addition to IBI's business partners worldwide.

IBI is an Import/Export and Business Facilitation Network operating in over 20 countries of the world. IBI facilitates Import/Export and business activities both through Impexpobiz International Market Research Associates and through the Popular Internet B2B Trade portal www.impexpobiz.com. IBI is set up to perform most of the functions of an in-house import/export department.

Worldbid has partnered with ClearedAndDelivered.com (C&D), a division of WCS International. C&D is a licensed customs brokerage and international freight forwarder servicing the needs of importers worldwide. Through its informative and useful website www.clearedanddelivered.com, C&D offers a suite of valuable information, resources and services to the international trade community. These exciting partnerships will provide C&D and IBI's members with exposure to Worldbid's trading network of over 294,000 registered members.

Worldbid has also announced the extension of a contract with Euredit SA, to provide their Europages directory of over 500,000 businesses to the Worldbid-owned trade website www.eceurope.com. Europages, the European Business Directory, is a b2b directory published in six languages in three media versions: Website, Printed version and CD-Rom. This partnership provides a valuable resource to eceurope members, and generates revenue for Worldbid via online advertising commitments.

As per my postings at start of Nov, I'm chuffed with CIN. Ever since the Indie bloke sold out, this thing has kept edging higher, with my buy AT 37P now making up for the losses I made when buying at 115p and 93p ages ago. Tempted to get out but this rising on no news is usually the sign that the market is expecting positive soon and spookily seems to anticipate it somehow...

Anyone see anything in the papers about the results? Given no trades today, suggests not!

Yes, nothing particularly new in the interims. I still think that something is going on and there were some vague hints about changes in the future. Maybe something will happen in the second half. Anyway, NAV of 61p is looking more encouraging given that Connected Corp is not included in this.

NAV 55p - nothing stellar about that & it would have been nice to get a current NAV as they say it has increased since end sept. nothing to excite in my opinion and no rabbit/hat - which makes it all the more weird that some investors have twice been prepared to buy in at over 60p ...
