|ls lowry: Read it but my stance is EKT a better play with a certainty of doubling the share price as against a hit and miss here high risk at that.|
|renewable: A bit blatant LS !!
Share price dipping again.......|
|ls lowry: I suspected they were running short of cash that was probably while they delayed results to hopefully come on with a contract statements so they could get the share price up. The trouble is the lower the share price the more dilution. The cash burn is horrendous I reckon about £2 million last year.|
|reckless_rat: Interesting statement. The numbers are terrible ( farcical compared to market expectations last summer- see top of this page), the accounts are qualified due to material uncertainty as to going concern, the cash burn is >£100k per month and they will be out of cash within weeks. Another fund raising must be needed urgently. Before anybody gets the cheque book out they should find out why Prof Mike Hughes resigned as a non exec last week. He only joined in March this year with options over 140k shares at 14p and he is clearly a serious industrialist from the electricity sector. Was that a put option, Mike? As for the MoU in the USA it's not about the business but as Bill Clinton would say 'it's about the share price, stupid'|
|ls lowry: Another 100,000 sell on close there has been a lot of dumping stock of lately I supect they are the guys that got quite a lot through placing shares a while back. They wont be happy seeing the shares decline and getting what they can for them now before the next placing.
Anyone that took my advice and switched to EKT will have done the right thing. EKT came out with reults divi up over 8% the share price outperfomed Cinpart lately. EKT is still cheap brokers have aprice target of 30p and thats the way its going. Things going that well the co is hinting of an interim divi as well.
"Components distributor Elektron firmed 0.5p to 20.5p following robust annual results including an 8.7pc dividend increase to 0.5p. Trading for the current year remains strong. Broker FinnCap lifted its target price to 30p and says that management has made considerable financial and operational progress in 2009. The balance sheet and group order book is strong. It forecasts pre-tax profits of £1.62m in 2010 on sales of £29.88m. "

|ls lowry: Glad I took my profit and put it in EKT Elektron are racing ahead up again today. EKT is number 6 out of 178 in TMF competition. Someone said on another board if the comp was calc today EKT would be number 1.
As for current share price more dilution coming and no contracts will have an adverse share price here.|
|everlastian: Tomking, thats good, the share price always get a up kick when an event like the one you mentioned happens.
Its good that its in April!
Some people are adjusting there balances for the tax year, thats why share price is going down, it should recover in April|
|ls lowry: Incrediblwe the tipsters say the share price was worth over 32p then it fails to reach that so they say sell yesterday and the share price bounces back.
I am still bearish though.|
|talon13: it's a short and sweet comment:
Cinpart's Active Energy subsidiary has a great chance to make big money through the installation of its VoltageMaster devices. But it does not have the field to itself. With recent bullish research notes unable to drive the price much above the 15p level, it looks as if the shares are up with events for now. The share price has almost doubled since I tipped them last June and that is good enough for me. SELL|
|ls lowry: One up to me and one down to CR...
