17/2/2014 19:49 | Slobber, my you are up a bit late / early. Seems a bit obsessive! Anyway to answer your question, not that you have ever answered any question put to you. It is exactly the same business model employed by people who write letters for Amnesty International. Perhaps you would like to explain CTFA's business model, or is that just another phrase you have thought sounds impressive but you do not have a clue what it means? | ih_318421
17/2/2014 01:32 | Hey Drunkies, why are you asking me? You are the grand poohbah of this board. I'm just curious about the business model of spending time bashing stocks you don't own, how does that work? | slobberchops
13/2/2014 18:15 | Great slobber I am really looking forward to you proving your knowledge and prowess. Explain: a. What working capital is b. What the impact of doing a CLN deal like the one TXO announced earlier this week is on the shareprice over time. You may wish to draw on the experiences of FJET to illustrate your answer. c. How 5 years from University patent to prototype trials on a yacht and then another 5 years to market is a great cornerstone strategy. | ih_318421
13/2/2014 11:28 | The blind leading the blind - Drunky explaining the stock market to 'dullards'. Is your cat a good listener? | slobberchops
12/2/2014 16:50 | Sorry slobber been a bit busy explaining to dullards what working capital is and the impact of masses of CLNs at a low conversion price. I see Stephen Voller is planning his next yachting trip to test batteries. With the university patent to prototype test on yacht time being about 5 years and the prototype test on yacht to commercial success being another five years investors will have a lot to hold for great cornerstone of the strategy. Still can't spell focusing but at least it is clear it is graphene not grapheme they trying to exploit the hype over. | drunken sailor
12/2/2014 08:47 | Investors pretty happy and not feeling ripped off here Drunkies. Did you buy any? | slobberchops
10/2/2014 07:29 | I see the drugs still have not worn off slobber, that must have been quite some session. When your head does clear enough may be you should consider 1 person posting round the clock or several people posting from around the globe. Tin has managed to develop himself a multinational fan club all of whom are dedicated to making it as difficult as possible to rip off more naive investors. | ih_318421
09/2/2014 16:48 | Wow slobber that must have been some drug fueled orgy to keep you away for so long. You clearly are not over the mind altering effects of whatever substances you have been taking. In the meantime we have been able to distil out CTFAs great investing proposition: Grapheme is great, we are really clever and have a guy who "Trained as a physist" (shame we do not have anyone who can spell but who cares about that), give us money to pump into companies trying to develop grapheme based products (we won't mention that lab to market is about 10 years and will require £10m - £100m to achieve), did we tell you grapheme is great? or is it graphene they both sound about the same so it does not matter does it? (we won't tell you how much we are going to take in emoluments, but we might use the generous pension pot we award ourselves to do director's buys at key times), we have built an impressive looking website that tells everyone how great grapheme / graphene is. | ih_318421
09/2/2014 15:24 | Het Drunky - whatever happened to the all the mini Drunkies? Are the drugs working? You never did tell us whether you were ill, insane or all six. | slobberchops
08/2/2014 15:22 | "Cientifica, the AIM-quoted investment company focussing on the acquisition of business making use of advanced materials, grapheme and emerging technologies....." How much faith should one put in a company that can't even spell graphene properly in its regulatory announcements? Unless we have all misunderstood and they really are going to invest in: "the smallest contrastive linguistic unit which may bring about a change of meaning" (A.C. Gimson, An Introduction to the Pronunciation of English, 1962) Focusing is also spelled incorrectly! 2 blunders in one short paragraph and these guys are going to pick the winners from all the potential failures out there? | ih_318421
06/2/2014 18:58 | Someone needs to set up a general interest graphene thread for these sorts of thing as they have no genuine relevance to CTFA, which is only interested in exploiting the hype around graphene. It has linked up with Stephen Voller who is only interested in trying to exploit grants that might be available. With 10 years for most applications to get to market there is no way he is ever going to deliver anything real. Graphene, which emerged from a physics lab in Manchester less than 10 years ago, deserves its reputation as the first "wonder material" of the 21st century.... Huge scientific resources from public and private sectors are pouring into graphene research. Andre Geim, co-discoverer of the material, believes total spending is about $1bn a year. The EU this year launched a 1bn graphene research programme, while UK ministers say they are determined to protect the country's stake in the exploitation of a material discovered in Britain. ..... The total number of patents and patent applications worldwide relating to graphene is already close to 10,000,... Even the most versatile material takes considerably longer than a decade to translate from lab discovery to full-scale commercialisation, however. Although a few niche applications, such as graphene-strengthene "While an impressive debut for a new material, this growth is less than some of the hype may suggest," Lux said. | ih_318421
06/2/2014 12:44 | Not invested here but saw this and thought might be of interest to this company: Tests showing excellent potential for wireless. | offerman
05/2/2014 17:00 | I see the latest RNS says nothing about Gordon having actually bought the shares, only that he acquired them. Conveniently avoids mentioning the date of acquisition too. Is that allowed? Just thinking that ol' TB's pension pot also used the same terminology (acquired, not bought) but at least this helpfully gave the acquisition date as 31 Jan, funnily enough the same effective date as Equity For Growth (Securities), another of the TB sticky web of companies, went to a zero holding from 2.5 million. Surely not a sweetener of some sort? A suspicious mind might think there'd been an E for G (Sec) asset distribution among related parties - perhaps even related creditors given the incestuous links between the various TB companies. After all, the said TV Investments which Bruce Gordon is consultant to is most likely also the creditor that called time on TB's Hill Street recently (TV being Thames Valley and the named administrator, KRE Corporate Recovery being in Reading). Oh, and HSI having been mortgaged up to the hilt with none other than TVI! Anyone smell fish? | sharptack
05/2/2014 14:44 | What editing, are you mad? Don't project your paranoid fantasies in my direction. Are you still typing with one hand down your pants? Does Tim Baldwin make you excited? The only conclusion is that you are obsessed with Tim Baldwin because you are Tim Baldwin. Nobody else in the world cares about Tim Baldwin, Tom Baldwin or the little Tin Baldwin. | slobberchops
05/2/2014 14:02 | Oh slobber you are a wag, that feined stupidity and ineptitude trick of yours really gets us ever time. Using the edit function to correct the evidence is fairly lame and easily seen through though. I will post something about graphene if you answer my 2 questions that you have repeatedly ducked. You first. Deal? | drunken sailor
05/2/2014 13:06 | Oh Drunkies, you fell into a trap for trigger happy trolls. Calm down dear. As your various personalities would gleefully attest, that obviously shows your lack of attention to detail, indicates you know nothing about investing and conclusively proves that you are really Tim Baldwin in disguise etc. (Copyright Drunken Sailor 2012-14) | slobberchops
05/2/2014 11:56 | Doesn't what? exposing how clueless you are about investing? or how your lack of attention to detail matches Tim's? | drunken sailor
05/2/2014 11:54 | Involve Tim Baldwin, and I'll post something about graphene that doesn't involve calling you a sad pathetic little troll who doesn't know anything about this, or any other stock. Deal? | slobberchops
05/2/2014 11:52 | Hey Drunkies, let's play a little game. You post something that doesn't | slobberchops |
