This strange reaction today is indeed that, strange.

Going back to earlier days, this type of thing went on regularly. Without making too much of it, roi would have a vested interest in distorting this market, smoking out some sellers, getting the price right down and adding, CHL owe the shareholders a duty of care to police all transactions now through our house brokers.

Suspension asap might not be a bad idea.

mms this morning were showing lots of late or yesterday trades and became no point watching.
ie if you want to know what is trading now then look in an hour or tomorrrow.

Only other thing I can think of is that some large player in the know has got word of suspension and would rather take his weekly profits off the table /
All guessing probably mm games. ???

I wont be selling at this stage after years of research my decision is made

Wrong on the timing, but the only certainty so far is, no suspension.

Neo makes a very valid point on employee culpability, it is no defence for ROI to say, chl got at one of their employees.

A similar scenario covers a member of staff stealing from an employer, the employer still has to pay the VAT that would have been liable from the stolen goods.

stephen,

Exactly, people should be able to discuss CHL in an adult fashion and with respect for the other poster.

Everyone is entitled to hold their own opinion, and free to express it in the right way.

Maybe some nerves are becoming frayed? This could go either way, it's a binary bet now.

Whilst, somewhere else, sycophancy rules, i prefer to be my own censor, i dont need the wisdom of a Matron to tell me what to think.

To that end, this site is full of wisdom, devoid of bureaucracy and allows free speech. Whereas elsewhere blue posters bicker away at non blue, the non blue is reprimanded for responding, that is wrong. Elsewhere also the gang culture is quite evident. It may have escaped some peoples limited brain span but these are discussion boards, all views are of interest or not as the case may be, but the incessant bullying of anyones views that may not be agreed by others is obnoxious, yet sanctioned by the Matron.

lol

one of their allegation was that possibly an insider in ROi may have colluded with ridlatama, if that's the case surely they need to realise they are liable.

Roi shooting themselves in foot.

The time table today could be, 12.30 to 13.40 Autumn statement.

14.28 ICSID rns, with suspension

Today's inaction due to more important things like the autumn statement, should motor thereafter for a while, then full stop.

Cheers Andy, pretty transparent, the reasoning behind it at this stage, but must have been gut twisting at the time.

Hello Debbie,

I've followed all your posts, I'm sure I was a lot younger when I first invested in Churchill and feel that we are at last getting close to the news we have all been waiting for. Surely ROI must now just accept the ruling of ICSID otherwise, there will certainly be no foreign investment in ROI.
I do believe that after the result of this hearing, ICSID will move quickly to merits, and I feel sure there are no merits from ROI, who have played a deceitful hand all along.
Thanks Debbie for all your sensible, informative posts, good luck to all LTH.

sp went from 25 -78 on the day that our Indonesian partners bought.

A placing was announced I believe for 16% of the co [shares were printed] at 40p when the share price was 25 to help us pay for ICSID.

That was back in 2011 I believe and had it not of been for the forgery accusation
[which most of us believe was a low-life effort of seeing us run out of funds ]
we would have probably at least been at the quantum stage now.
