I sold all my chunk in the nice spike, phone trades + online. I got even more than I was hoping, that was a real bonus

A very good profit which no sane person would say no to a 1XX%+ gain. Clearly CHL wants the case to continue hence they paid ROI fees, but you will have to wait for a long time and we all know this shares tend to drift when shorters pile in.

What I found interesting about yesterdays trading was how we went so quickly through 20p
We just sailed through with all those warrants at 20p which I thought could create some resistance.

Sorry RossExcuse my ignoranceI'm confused! Why would roi not pay 200 surely in any decision on monetary penalty they will still have to pay this? So why ruin their chances by not paying 200?So If they don't pay by Wednesday its a slam dunk?

So CHL has paid for ROI, so arbitration will continue then. You may be locked in while MMS squeeze the impatiens.
Look at RSI on daily chart. You will be lucky to sell at 22p by the end of close.

Well, I'm still here and holding all the CHL shares I was holding yesterday morning.

Well done to any who made a quick buck on the flurry at 8am. But if CHL do win outright, be it by default or after a full judgement the gains from a quick trade will seem like chickenfeed in comparison to what the longs could make.

Seems certain we will have developments in the next 7 days - and the worst that can happen in that timeframe is that ROI come crawling back to the process. Even if ICSID did allow them to continue (and ROI are now in default, so that isn't certain) their credibility is gone and they have shown complete contempt for the process and the authority of ICSID.

Either way, (ie judgement by default or ROI are allowed to continue) CHL are closing in on a successful outcome.

I'm tied up with work, so won't be posting much today, but will keep an eye on developments.

The decision to proceed would need presidential approval with a UK visit in the same week I doubt Joko would want the additional pain. I wonder if that is why our legal team have set 20 April as the deadline.

From my own point of view, i prefer my position in this battle and glad i am not backing ROI. The rns yesterday was not definitive, obviously, therefore the price will be all over the place until we get certainty and that only comes from the tribunal, the rest is just wallpaper.
My view, like many on here is not ramping but seeing the situation as it unfolds and on that basis, ROI appear to have left the room and the lawyers are discussing settlement because it looks like the ROI have abandoned a lost cause and see no future in carrying on.
Uncertainty and doubt remains though as to the amount of compensation will be forthcoming. It is silly to assume now that CHL could still lose all signs indicate the opposite,imho.
