23/8/2008 15:22 | just how big is any stock overhang going to be? I wouldn't trust Hoods for a second. | liarspoker
23/8/2008 12:32 | Try to show a bit of optimism, and you are immediately accused of ramping ! Yes,I do hold the shares.Yes,of course I'd like to see them go higher. As for a stock overhang,I don't know, but I doubt it.The marketmakers seem to be very careful to hold a minimum of stock in these microcaps.Try to sell much more than the tiny bid size, and they'll either offer you a third less,or demand that you wait until they find a buyer, and then charge that buyer a big markup on what they pay you. Since the whole bang shoot is capitalised at less than £1million at the current midprice, just how big is any stock overhang going to be? | shakyhands
23/8/2008 11:47 | Still,I suppose it wouldn't take much buying to push the shareprice up. Nice ramp. :O) Don't suppose you think that there's a big overhang of shares now ? Administration is on the way imo. | liarspoker
23/8/2008 01:16 | Thanks for the info,Dina.Getting people interested in a microcap is going to be tricky in today's market.Still,I suppose it wouldn't take much buying to push the shareprice up. | shakyhands
22/8/2008 10:50 | Well my partner got hold of the MD yesterday This is what was said: 1/ They definately want to sell the company ASAP 2/ Apparently there are some buyers lined up in the US with "lots of spare cash" 3/ However they are going to try to get the shareprice up within the next 6 months to get a good takeover value. In order to do this they have some new products to be unveiled in September. One of them is promised to be "even better then Chromolite" and they are hoping for some big orders for it. That's the full story so all we as PIs can do I suppose is hope for the best! | dina
21/8/2008 09:51 | There has been so much talk about a takeover on this board without any confirmation from the company so I really don't believe anything I hear on here anymore. This company is heading for oblivion IMo. | dina
20/8/2008 12:32 | Buying by directors in advance of a takeover is generally frowned on ! | shakyhands
16/8/2008 20:14 | Very good idea | battyman2
16/8/2008 12:48 | Perhaps the directors could show the way by buying shares themselves. | tyranosaurus
14/8/2008 18:47 | By the way I think that the MMs decided that they had marked the price down a bit too far I see it recovered a bit. The directors were in a big meeting today so as I've said before we may very well see them look for a buyer/takeover opportunity for the company in the near future. Perhaps it is a good time to buy! | battyman2
14/8/2008 18:44 | Liarspoker your silly gloating manner is out of place on this board. If this chap that you're accusing was the only holder left then you'd have a point, but there are I'm sure many people still holding CGX shares who would right at this moment dearly love to see the shareprice go in the opposite direction by hook or by crook. So I suggest that you take your imbecilic and inane comments to another thread. | battyman2
14/8/2008 17:34 | Got out some time ago. Best advice now? Get out while you still can and for anything the MMs will give you. This will be dead very shortly IMO and then you'll receive absolutely nothing. spud | spud
14/8/2008 11:26 | I do not like to see people losing money but I am happy that the poster with the multiple usernames got burned. Lesson learned I hope. | liarspoker
14/8/2008 10:03 | ""We have recently launched our Enhanced Pulse model (EP) of the Chromolite and see significant opportunities to upgrade over 1,700 existing systems worldwide. We expect to see increased sales of our higher margin products in 2008 thereby improving our gross margin and overall profitability. We have a number of new products in the pipeline which will contribute to sales in the second half of 2008 and beyond." Only hope? | battyman2
14/8/2008 09:59 | It really is a hopeless mess and obviously going downhill fast. I do wish that we had got out a long long time ago. | dina
14/8/2008 09:58 | It's sickening | dina
13/8/2008 10:41 | skin health spa - also listed. NB I am not a share holder of this co any more - walked away last year. | mideires
13/8/2008 09:42 | No,A4rdvark,I am not a director of Chromogenex - or any sort of insider. £133,000 is not a big salary for the director of a company.MidEires, whi | shakyhands
13/8/2008 09:37 | IMO this co has been poorly managed, products have not met market standards. Information to market has been less than forthcoming. The only sad bit is that it could all have been so easily avoidable, a mess. FYI sister company SHS went into admin last week, similar story. | mideires
12/8/2008 22:03 | I thought this was dead in the water...... just floating by the sounds of things?? And you wonder why, just like Jon pointed out , and it takes a newbie to post such the obvious (maybe not such a newbie eh sounds more like someone p@@ed off to me!!!!) Anyways my lovelies 'shakyhands - 11 Aug'08 - 09:48 - 1273 of 1275 So far as I can see,the management has only made the one major slipup - over the registration.Surely we can forgive them that.' Well someone has rear'ed its ugly head!!!! This is a clear case of trying to justify a pay incresae of............ (113K -77k)/77k x 100 = 46.75% (and this is to the finance director), and I quote "reducing staff levels" HOW CAN ANY INDIVIDUAL JUSTIFY SUCH GROSS MISMANAGEMENT!!!! So you must be one of three directors that are sharing the 400k??, stop posting!!!! your only making yoursleves look like morons that you obviously are..... which doesnt help the rest of us to get at least some return on our investment .......... whens the AGM i think there needs to be some answers, Batty post your letter on here please I could do with a giggle | a4rdvark
12/8/2008 10:21 | I believe you said this is a "10 bagger". Instead it's going to the dogs!!!! | dina
11/8/2008 14:52 | ?? You what, Dina? What did I say? I thought I asked to buy your shares but you said 'no'. You're in the wrong game. Get your cash in the building society. If you don't like this one then sell. Keep selling. | flateric
11/8/2008 09:48 | So far as I can see,the management has only made the one major slipup - over the registration.Surely we can forgive them that. | shakyhands
10/8/2008 21:05 | Looks like Flateric has gone for good! I wish I had not listened to him!!!!!! | dina |
