11/1/2002 00:27 | Looking back at the volume and price charts to the start of November, there has been very steady buying in blocks of over 100k with a price in the 80 - 100p region. Approx 25% of the stock has changed hands with what looks at first glance to be a goodly percentage as decent sized buys. The family account, by common agreement, for around 40% of the stock. Someone is at it again today with some nice buys. Please let it be a bid from someone who can get the family onside or is buying them out. This is one share I am dying to dump | ccnp
05/1/2002 23:35 | rifraf1....I know in the grand scale of things it may not be a lot of money. No doubt an hours work for you but on a share that has seen no positive movement in the past few weeks (apart from today) there must be someone out there who thought it was worth a dabble. | sholcroft
05/1/2002 09:57 | cant reveal source but i bought at 83 and was told to sit tight even when they charged up over the £1 still told to wait looking forward to a good holiday from these later in year!!!!! | raym
04/1/2002 10:11 | Sholcroft - you maybe right but more likely technical or fundamental reasons | techair
04/1/2002 09:53 | Another £20,000. Nobody invests that sort of money without knowing something........ | sholcroft
04/1/2002 09:50 | Why all the buys. Last one was nearly £50,000. Anyone got any news....... | sholcroft
04/1/2002 09:44 | Looks like someone likes these again :) | techair
21/12/2001 02:30 | Hi there late bird. I've had my eye on this one, but haven't bought. If I had bought at 100p and was looking at 90p now, I think I'd give it until the New Year and meanwhile look out for oversold dull dog bargains such as EXD and QMOT. COR looks set to pop up, as does WGG, but DYOR and it's all IMHO. Probably your best bet though is TWT, straining at the leash. | johnduffield
21/12/2001 01:57 | Bought this one of a newspaper recommendation at just over 100p. Down 10% so far......any thoughts welcome.... | sholcroft
20/12/2001 16:20 | 2 x 250k buys (they look like buys) gone through. all interest in svc appreciated | ccnp
23/11/2001 00:13 | still holding...up today on UK economy news? (see Times) | greatwhitehope
22/11/2001 16:38 | CCNP, Cant see the business going for such a small premium, no stakebuilding so MBO looks on the cards which could effect the take-out price. | humbugg
22/11/2001 16:25 | renegade, Hoping for between £1.80-£2.00 | humbugg
22/11/2001 16:14 | so presumably shrareholders like myself will have our shares bought from us (possibly) at a higher price than the market price now? | renegade master
22/11/2001 14:22 | rm forget rule book valuations. the family own 40%+ and it looks like Custos has sold its 10% or is doing the deal. any deal will have been effectively done by now. ccnp | ccnp
22/11/2001 13:44 | pardon my ignorance (plenty of it) what sort of price would an MBO be at? | renegade master
22/11/2001 11:48 | the news gossip (Mail) is that the MBO is in play again ccnp | ccnp
22/11/2001 09:23 | Is the train about to leave the station???choo choooo ;-))H. | humbugg
22/11/2001 09:12 | salveson rising steadily every day, anyone any news/views on whether this could carry on higher? | renegade master
17/11/2001 14:55 | H, Thanks for that, looks like its got "R" for recovery written all over it. Might be tempted to put some salve on board on monday.120 looks like it might offer some resistance in the short term. Should also benefit from falling oil prices and speculation that an MBO could be on the cards. What are you trying to suggest regarding my stockpicking strategy.....that i am boring transport bottom picker? regards NEM | nemesis
15/11/2001 14:52 | nice little article in the Guardian this morning talking up a bid. Looks like Custos has found a buyer for its stake which could be used as a platform for a bid. Fingers crossed. H. | humbugg
14/11/2001 10:47 | I'm holding good profits on these - anyone with any news/views on this one likely to go higher or re-trace - thanks in advance! | renegade master |
