Looking back at the volume and price charts to the start of November, there has been very steady buying in blocks of over 100k with a price in the 80 - 100p region.

Approx 25% of the stock has changed hands with what looks at first glance to be a goodly percentage as decent sized buys. The family account, by common agreement, for around 40% of the stock.

Someone is at it again today with some nice buys.

Please let it be a bid from someone who can get the family onside or is buying them out. This is one share I am dying to dump

rifraf1....I know in the grand scale of things it may not be a lot of money. No doubt an hours work for you but on a share that has seen no positive movement in the past few weeks (apart from today) there must be someone out there who thought it was worth a dabble.

Hi there late bird. I've had my eye on this one, but haven't bought. If I had bought at 100p and was looking at 90p now, I think I'd give it until the New Year and meanwhile look out for oversold dull dog bargains such as EXD and QMOT. COR looks set to pop up, as does WGG, but DYOR and it's all IMHO. Probably your best bet though is TWT, straining at the leash.

CCNP,

Cant see the business going for such a small premium, no stakebuilding so MBO looks on the cards which could effect the take-out price.

so presumably shrareholders like myself will have our shares bought from us (possibly) at a higher price than the market price now?

forget rule book valuations. the family own 40%+ and it looks like Custos has sold its 10% or is doing the deal. any deal will have been effectively done by now.

the news gossip (Mail) is that the MBO is in play again

H,
Thanks for that, looks like its got "R" for recovery written all over it.
Might be tempted to put some salve on board on monday.120 looks like it might offer some resistance in the short term.
Should also benefit from falling oil prices and speculation that an MBO could be on the cards.
What are you trying to suggest regarding my stockpicking strategy.....that i am boring transport bottom picker?

regards

nice little article in the Guardian this morning talking up a bid. Looks like Custos has found a buyer for its stake which could be used as a platform for a bid. Fingers crossed.
