I am delighted for you that such high tax rates are a problem for you. Capital gains tax is my main problem. Income tax is not the only problem with having stock market returns biased towards income. Student finance is also a problem, if a relatively short lived one.

The top rate of tax is 45% - and then there's NI

Meaning the gross figure you quote is way short of the more likely £37m + required to get a net £20m

ie at least an extra £4m or to put it in your terms - 16 Rio Ferdinands (at his prime)

Apart from all his other attributes, perhaps Conte's greatest has been that he appears to have seen through Mikel from the off, unlike several previous Chelsea managers. The useless lump is even kept well away from the subs' bench.

The ref may or may not have had a 'terrible' game but when you have 22 players and their management generally plotting continually to con the ref you might want to look where the real blame lies. Dele Ali dived for a penalty against Swansea and I am a Tottenham fan, it is not wanted by fans at all. Solution : bring in post match video panels for these incidents and get players served up with 3 match bans. The shenanigans will dry up pretty quickly.
