Biro,2 wrongs don't make a right..should have been a straight red for petulant rake on Adrian.agree tho about balance over season,but Costa has to be told the difference between aggression and thuggery.

Perhaps it was the fact that 2 penalties were turned down (which apparently Neville and Carragher both said were clear cut)

But in any event its the rub of the green - some refs would have second yellowed him, others wouldn't. For once, we got the lucky break

We all get the breaks with ref's decision through a season, but what annoys me is that when a ref gets it badly wrong, nothing is done. Taylor made a mistake last night & it should be explained. I think it stemmed from Costa's first booking, which I think that Taylor,upon reflection, must have thought was harsh so he tried to redress the balance..

Know he's not your favourite but tbh I would certainly put Oscar up for sale - to me he is the weak link

Last nite said it all - as you say he did Ok - whereas virtually every other player did well

Nearly robbed last nite - if ever there was a performance that merited a victory that was it imo - ball in their half most the match and all the chances/close shots were ours (bar the near mugging)

I agree, Joe Say. Although the team wasn't too different from last season, they looked better organised and less vulnerable at the back. Kante looks to be a great addition. More like Makelele than Matic or Mikel have ever looked.

Have never been Oscar's biggest fan but he did okay last night. But would still rather see him leave than Fabregas. Also good to see Victor Moses back in the squad. I think he's very under-rated and offers the squad something different from the bench, especially if Pedro goes.

Read the other day that Galatasary are still interested in Obi Mikel. They must be mad but please, please, please put in an offer.
