a couple of brokers moved it from buy to hold yesterday. hence drop.

Spot on MR ANGRY, if the sells were due to EPS figure a lot of investors have called it wrong. Not only that but margins increased.

Might have been general market conditions prevaling and short term speculators ditching on the news after run up to results.

The company looks in great health, just read the outlook statement.

Good results ahead of market expectations with actually an increase in the eps (read it properly!) and impressive growth - look at the figure for cash at hand. First quarter of 2011 sees robust figures, the initial raction of the market should retrace and we should see blue today. What more do shareholders expect? These are excellent results.

Looks great to me. PBT up 40%, and Lord Bell saying "Another brilliant year. All four business divisions showing strong growth in operating profit". You don't often see the word "brilliant" in a report.

No it hasn't.

EPS & operating profit have come in ahead of the most bullish broker forecast (Investec's) and the dividend matches the highest forecast (Canaccord).

As for the outlook they say:

"Good start to first quarter trading"

For each of the four main divisions, in order of size:

PR - "2011 has started well for city and financial, corporate, technology, the Middle East and corporate and social responsibility."

Advertising and Marketing Services - "The first quarter has started well and we are already ahead of 2010."

Sports Marketing - "This division has had a very strong start to 2011, particularly in rights sales and the margin is already improving."

Research - "The 2011 new business pipeline is stronger than this time last year."

i wasn't too keen on the outlook statement myself seemed very down beat and used the word challenging think these will be marked down today

Hmm. Not exactly a prolific growth stock now. Slickly presented results though, as you would expect from a PR company. Moving down from the headlines I realised that eps had actually fallen.

CHW results Weds. 9th March. Don't always perform on results day. It can be a wait of a few weeks post results before the share price rises.

Preliminary results are due on 9th March. Last year, I don't think there was an interim statement.
