02/12/2007 14:57 | thanks for your reply - i also note there is an article in this weekends FT titled ' Investors could be bailing out too soon', suggesting stockbrokers have been oversold including direct mention of C.S.,Rensburg Shep, Rathbones and Brewin Dolphin. It also notes these players all have more diversifed income streams than a few years ago. With the added attraction of the cash held by C.S. though i agree it does look cheap/attractive to my mind. Just need sentiment to turn although the last director sale was a bit disappointing to see. | its the oxman
02/12/2007 10:39 | I am a long term holder. They fell back badly in March 2002 -I topped up at 227p and they were back to 267p within a couple of weeks on takeover speculation surrounding another stockbroker. I rate them as very good value at the current price but of course if the market turns really bearish then who is to say. Best hope is -if there is some action at Evolution (wishful thinking on my part) then the spotlight would fall on C.S. perhaps with a run up to 300p. | dickstertwo
30/11/2007 16:43 | any long term holders here with any insight on the current share price fall - sub 250p and i buy is my thinking | its the oxman
