Had a read of the Mike Walters site, here is the link http://www.michaelwalters.com/cgi-bin/MWstory.pl?story_body_id=528 Although it may look as though he is just saying to 'hold tight' i've done some digging around and I believe this is a cryptic coded message roughly translated to mean"go absolutely bonkers on Monday and buy a complete shed-full while you have the chance...................................me old mukka" TB

Right, this should do it!! 'Chandra' very tightly held with only 16% of the cap being liquid.Monday will see some selling from those who have had margin calls or have had to buy on borrowed money as a result of the suspension.Don't be fooled by the early fall in price, this is THE chance you have all been waiting for,get in early, you won't get another chance. The smart ones are ready to steam in so you will need to be quick!!. With the tight liquidity even small buys will send this one to the moon,so no-one needs to feel left out!! Warning.....if you don't want to make unbelievable ammounts of CASH then stay away from this stock!! TB...........NOT in self-denial mode. ps all POSITIVE comments welcome

Here's FT.com's version of events tonight: ------------------------------------------ Media & Entertainment ------------------------------------------ Stones get into net groove By Anna Minton - 24 Mar 2000 21:54GMT The Rolling Stones have taken a jump on to the internet bandwagon. Taking their cue from their hit "Start Me Up", Mick Jagger, Bill Wyman, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood have invested in a share placing by Chandra, a cash shell planning a reverse takeover into Groovetech, an internet dance music company. Groovetech, based in Seattle, broadcasts live over the internet from leading dance music clubs in the US and runs a web site selling CDs and vinyl records. Chandra is to acquire 72 per cent of Groovetech for £8.8m, through a share issue at 158p a share. The shell company is also raising £2.41m through the placing which has attracted numerous celebrities apart from the Rolling Stones, including Vinnie Jones, the footballer-turned actor, and Frankie Dettori, the jockey. Mr Wood said: "I think we're pioneering in the music of the future - the music for the internet generation." While the company will retain its US presence and its US staff a London office is to open and the group is planning to broadcast over the internet from UK dance clubs. Nicholas Cowan, Mr Wood's manager, will become chairman of Groovetech, which is to change its name to Internet Music & Media and will be listed on Aim. Mr Cowan will own 27 per cent of the renamed company while Mr Wood will have a 4 per cent stake. Internet Music and Media will also have an option to buy the remaining 28 per cent of the shares for £6.8m.

The rights issue will dilute the price and there will porbably be quite period until after the rights is completed. Given it's a 3 for 8 rights issue the share price would be about 257p. There are only 5.2m shares in issue after the rights issue there will only be 7m more or less. So it will be tightly held. It will be interesting to see how it reacts on Monday morning as this deal has been in circulation since an article in Guardian on 27/01/00.

Looking at the Co. profile the shares are tightly held with only 16% on the open market(similar to ADVFN).I'd be suprised if this is'nt picked up by the ramp merchants, with the right 'sentiment' behind it this would fly.At the moment this stock is not being talked about on the various BB's,so plenty of 'potential' buyers still out there, just a case of raising the profile..............................who wants to start then?;-) This is a limited offer available only to humans, bears are not invited. As always,do your own ramping......................I mean research. TB

e-v: The fact that there is an upcoming 3-for-8 discounted share offer for existing holders, at 158p a share, presumably means that the market price from Monday will drift down towards the weighted average of the old and new (about 305p) unless sentiment towards the Groovetech/Chandra deal outweighs this negative factor.

I don't think the price will go up much but it is an concept. Web Radio, a record level and e-commerce through the sale of music merchandise. The e-commerce side is already up and running, and this is growing rapidly month on month. Hopefully it will get good coverage over the weekend

A few announcements today, started reading them but got bored.I think the bottom line is that trading will start again on Monday and then will re-list as a new company on May 4th.From the look of things I don't think this ones going to come back at a price that clears the mortgage, but you never know. Thanks for that e-venturer,i've been quietly'bricking it'as I was daft enough to go long on these when they broke out(the day they got suspended!)and have had to settle the contract as a result. From memory they were frozen at c£3.70 mid, they owe me £3.40 to break even so here's hoping. TB

Chandra are suspended at the moment but ana rticle in todays Telegraph suggests that they will return this week after buying Groovetech which operates 2 internet radio stations in San Francisco and Seattle. They are planning to launch a station in the UK shortly investors are thought to include Rod Stewart, Ronnie Wood and Frankie Dettori. Big names and it could just mean massive publicity? Tehy may be worth a long when they return.
