General Meeting of the Company, which is expected to be convened by the publication of a Shareholder circular to be published not later than the 29 September 2016.

Look forward to that tomorrow.

Hope it gives some really good information and not just full of platitudes.

Quite agree. Fundraise should come as no surprise to anyone. Hoping to pick up a few more at about the 8.75 level, although that looks a bit unlikely at the moment.....

Inevitable but I too expect the share price to hold firm about the 8.75p mark or better. The IIs must see/know that the next 12 months should see good traction in terms of finalising development of Products with different Partners for exploitation of the various Markets.
If the share price drops down to about 8.75p in the near future I'm going to get some more... in for a Penny, in for quite a few £s

We have known about the need for this equity raise for over a year.
Top bad no open offer for existing holders especially as they had all the time in the world and somehow I do not see the price falling below the equity raise price

Good news on balance though, I reckon. A bit of a disappointment since it looked set to rise, but the money is needed. The rise could very well restart.

We're surely due some very belated Year-End Results sometime very soon and maybe whatever is going on in the background regarding Fund raising, Partnerships and 'who-knows-what?' will have to come to light aligned with that Report ?

CE's Statement Feb 2016

"Looking forward, our V4 release to customers is on track for mid-2016 and serves two primary purposes: preparing the technology for scale-up, as well as improving performance and reducing cost further."

Why no news it is now Sept?

FC companies have never made a profit, non of them so far...they live on grants and subsidies. When will they actually take off, these caught my attention after receiving another EU funding.. Are there any other trials going on in EU? or are CWR first to market in home generation FC...

Many have come and gone CFU, acta,

I would be surprised if they get the talented person they are advertising for at £40-47k/pa!!!

I realise that they are very short of cash. At the end of last year they had not more than eighteen months of cash burn - unless they have earned some hefty undisclosed licence fees in between.

Actually, I think that the competitive position of the Ceres steel cell is extremely strong, and might well be best-0f-breed. Since the japanese have I think installed more fuel cells than anyone else, the emergence of a Honda car, together with the Nissan joint venture and Korean KD Navien boiler suggest a bright future for CWR.

I really, really hope so

The joint development agreement announced in January certainly makes it a possibility

"Ceres Power Holdings PLC (AIM:CWR), is pleased to announce that it has signed a new Joint Development Agreement with Honda R & D Co Ltd (“Honda”) to jointly develop Solid Oxide Fuel Cell stacks using Ceres Power’s unique metal supported Steel Cell technology for a range of potential power equipment applications."

The Ride: A spin the Honda's new fuel cell-powered sedan
by Take Two September 16, 01:51 AM

The 2017 Honda Clarity is powered by a hydrogen fuel cell and has a range of over 300 miles. AMERICAN HONDA MOTOR CO., INC.

An electric car that has a 300 mile range, and never needs to be charged?

Later this year, Honda will begin selling its new generation Clarity. It's a roomy, well-appointed four-door sedan with a difference. Its electric motor is powered by a hydrogen fuel cell.

Our motor critic and host of The Ride, Sue Carpenter, took a spin in a pre-production model, and found it to be appealing in both looks and performance. Honda says the Clarity will sell for less than $60,000 and lease for about $500 a month, which sets it up squarely against Toyota's fuel cell car, the Mirai. Both cars have an advantage over battery powered electrics. Rather than waiting for the batteries to charge, fuel cell vehicles are filled with hydrogen in an operation that's familiar and takes about the same amount of time as a gas fill-up does.

There was a previous trial with British Gas some years ago but this ran into degradation difficulties that have since been resolved.
This sounds really positive.

contains the following which surprised me as I thought CWR were doing this some time ago
quote
During calendar Q416, Ceres will deliver 10 prototype power systems to British Gas for deployment in homes and at British Gas sites. These will be used in the final phase of the EU ene-field fuel cell residential programme. The trial is the first of its kind in UK homes and will run for a year.

well at least something is happening. Ceres is now working with Honda, Nissan, Cummings and British Gas. Not a bad CV. If a full commercial relationship is established with any of these large companies then things will move fast. Thats the beauty of licensing a product. I am already holding some here and will possibly take some more on any fund raising if I get the opportunity.

The ene.field project is co-funded by the European Commission's Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking (FCH-JU) and brings together 26 partners, among whom are the 9 European manufactures which will make the products available across 11 European countries. So 9 Competitors.
